I have a USB mic on tripod, but I plan to record as I'm drawing so it will absurdly get in the way. I already tried and the sound is bad 110

Any will do, really, it's just that the camera is way easier to control with gamepad than it is with mouse + keyboard. Even something cheap out of Amazon will do.
