Part 8 & last of my contributions to the Baldur’s Eyes VP zine (@bg3vpzine.bsky.social). It tells the story of the battle with Ansur going very wrong for Vasa, Gale, & their party. See alt text for more. ────── ✦ ────── #vasa | #galedekarios | #spellsmite | #bg3vp

Rising out of the warmth and safety of his arms, Vasa shifted to her feet. Her movements were rigid, but she regained her strength as she strode beyond the aura of Gale’s invulnerability spell. She had sworn never again, never would another control her yet this carcass of bones dared to do so. Her features hardened as she extended her gauntlet outward, casting precise but commanding words with each step to compel the great drake’s attention solely on her.

“You contend with me now.”

“Are you hurt? Do you remember what happened? What did Ansur do to you?” His fretting tugged at her soul. There was so much she wanted to say but didn’t know how. The dragon’s roar stole her attention as it resounded beyond the bulwark. Now was not the time. None of them were safe while danger circled from above. Later, she mused to herself. Later they could speak of it.

Returning her focus to him, she wrapped Gale’s hand in hers as a quiet plea crossed her lips. A warmth spread between them and the wizard watched in awe as divine magic enveloped and grew in their hands. “We will talk later, my stars,” she whispered, attempting to reassure him with a smile – a false one that masked her fear and buried any pain deep within her. Gale probably knew this. But he also could see that she was hanging on by a mere thread and refused to be one to snap it.

FoxxyCanuck 💖🩸💖 Hello darlings... @foxxycanuck.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

Well darlings. I suppose it's time for me to share my VP set for @bg3vpzine.bsky.social ezine. The Beginnings of Throuple Life. I'm immensely proud of these as I built the entire set myself (it was quite large). It's in two parts, the NSFW in the comments. #BloodSong #Allora #Astarion #Halsin #BG3

Three months after the events of BG3, Allora & Astarion get married in the Emerald Grove, surrounded by all their companions who have become like family. Allora is thrilled when Astarion suggests they spend their "honeymoon" in Reithwin. She's been dying to see the changes to the land since they lifted the Shadow Curse. What she doesn't know, is Astarion has surprise for her... Which is why, shortly after arriving, he blind folds her and leads her into a secret grove, far away from the Halsin's Orphanage for a little...privacy.

Halsin eagerly awaits Allora & Astarion, having created a portal to a private, magical grove created just for the three of them to indulge in each other. What she doesn't realize is Astarion & Halsin have been communicating with each other since the fall of the Neitherbrain, making plans so they can finally come together and fulfill ALL of Allora's secret desires...

Allora is thrilled to find Halsin waiting for them. And can't believe the two men have been planning this in secret. Allora has been deeply attracted to Halsin from the moment they met him the goblins' dungeon. And what started out as trust and deep respect soon turned into love. But a love she could not indulge in, not when she felt so deeply for Astarion, not when the vampire needed her. Even when Halsin confessed his own feelings, and Astarion gave his blessings, Allora still could not given in to her own desires for Halsin, for she wanted Astarion to be the one to make love to her when he finally felt free...

But as the two Elves wrap Allora in their arms, kissing and caressing her, Allora suddenly realizes HIS is where she belongs: between these two loving and virile men. Finally she gives into the passion which she has suppressed for Halsin for so long. And yet, having her beloved Astarion with her, makes the moment all the richer, all the sweeter, and heightens her passions even more...

Part 5 of my contributions to the Baldur’s Eyes VP zine (@bg3vpzine.bsky.social). Vasa is trapped in her mind, Ansur’s possession invoking memories of her suffering when possessed by Cyric. While mid-panic, Gale’s magic reaches out to her. See alt text for more. ────── ✦ ────── #vasa | #bg3vp

“Do I hear…chirping?” The high trills beckoned to Vasa within the darker recesses of her mind. One would not call it wise for her to seek safety here. But how could the so-called ‘wise’ know this was the only refuge she had before, well, everything? Back when her body wasn’t her own and a manic voice rang constantly in her mind. The strange noises chimed again. “No, dearie, there are no sweet things here.” Startled, she turns around but finds nothing but the barren void stretching well beyond her sight. The chirping grew louder, almost deafening, as a crack of static charge threaded itself into view, reaching out as if a helping hand. “Gale?”

Vasa’s eyes snapped open and immediately her senses were overwhelmed by the reality around her. Someone held her close - strands of brown and gray hair filled her vision, lingering with the scent of old books and sea air. Gale.

She tilted her head ever so slightly only to be struck by the sight of lightning as it shrilled around her lover’s open palm. It dawned on her - it wasn’t chirping birds that called out to her, it was Gale. The sounds of his spell had reached her even in the deepest parts of her mind, pulling her back to the present. Her heart ached as she read the visible despair wrought across his face. Their predicament must be dire indeed for him to resort to such unbridled measures. She reached out with a caress, the cold, metallic touch of her gauntlet startling him. The crackling bolts evaporated instantly as his head jerked down, locking eyes with hers. “Vasa!” he cried, choking back a sob.

Part 3 of my contributions to the Baldur’s Eyes VP zine (@bg3vpzine.bsky.social). It tells the story Ansur’s battle going very wrong for Vasa & her party, as his possession of the paladin has unintended consequences. See alt text for more. ────── ✦ ────── #vasa | #galedekarios | #spellsmite | #bg3

It was at that moment something within Gale snapped. He held Vasa close to his chest. “You dare threaten her while I’m here?” he seethed through gritted teeth. With one hand he clutched Vasa even closer to him and with a wave of the other, commanding the Weave to harden into a shimmering bulwark around them. He watched as Ansur’s flittered movements forced Astarion’s ambushes to miss their mark and Wyll’s invocations were deflected with a mere flick of a bony tail. He knew his friends needed his aid but he wouldn’t leave his love so alone and vulnerable on the battlefield. Seeing no other alternative, Gale cried out with frustrated rage as he allowed the weave to swell through him. It forked into lightning sparks that pricked and danced around his body before coiling down into his open palm, ready to be unleashed.

Ansur was unwilling to see reason. The dragon relinquished his hold on the unconscious Vasa, dropping her body as the metallic clang of her armor reverberated against the wet stone. Decrepit bones swiftly took the initiative for battle. Astarion and Wyll scrambled to their feet, attempting to form some semblance of an offense.

With a gust of magic as quick as his namesake, Gale was at Vasa’s side. The wizard fell to one knee as he pulled her into his arms, fear etched across his face.

“My light, are you with me?”
