My problem with this interview is not what was said about the book, but the fact the Interviewer called Astarion a piece of shit, and claimed that he is a victim AND perpetrator of Sexual Assault. Not once, is there any indication of that in game. I actually cannot see him doing that... #BG3

This week's prompt over on the VP for Dummies server was the 60s, so WOULD YOU BELIEVE... I'd have to go with an homage to one of my fav shows from when I was a kid. #RavioliTheBard #Astarion #bg3vp

Rav is standing in front with a business suit. She is looking over her shoulder and is touching her chin with her finger. Astarion is wearing a trench coat and is standing behind her. He is resting his chin on Rav's head and has a soft smirk. Both of them are next to a door frame, They are trying to resemble Max and 99 from the TV show Get Smart.suggesting they are peeking around it.

Astarion is wearing a trench coat and is holding a shoe phone up to his ear as if listening to it. He has a puzzled, pursed look on his face. Rav is standing next to him, holding her own shoe phone made of a high heel. She is pretending to listen into it with a surprised and confused expression. They are trying to resemble Max and 99 from the TV show Get Smart.

Astarion took "picking up a cute girl at the club" literally. 😏 Astarion's outfit by @obsessedwhyyes.bsky.social - www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3... #RavioliTheBard #Astarion #bg3vp

Rav and Astarion are together at a night club/posh bar setting. Rav is wearing a strapless teal and silver dress and glittery heels. She is sitting on the top of a tall bar table with one leg crossed over her other one. She is holding a glass of wine with one hand as Astarion is holding her other one. She is looking at him with a big smile. Astarion wearing a purple shirt with ornate silver and black trim and black and silver brocade pants. He is standing next to the table. One of his hands is reaching up towards his face as if moving to hide his smiling expression as his other hand is holding Rav's. The view is pulled back, as if peeking around a large vase and watching the lovers interacting.

Rav has been pulled off the table by Astarion. He is facing the viewer with a big smirk on his face. His hands are up at his shoulders. Rav's fingers are interlaced with his own and he is "wearing" her like a cape on his back. She is dangling off his back, feet kicking slightly. She has a big, surprised grin on her face as he holds her up.

Astarion is now cradling Rav. They are face to face. He has one hand wrapped around her back and the other is grasping the back of her thigh. Rav's arms are wrapped around his shoulders and her head is leaning in to him. Astarion is kissing her forehead.

Given the discourse over the upcoming Astarion book (which I plan to read with an open mind, and wait before making any commentary), and the general attitude of how survivors are "supposed to be", I thought I would repost my thread on why Astarion is SO important to so many people. #BG3 #Astarion

1/9 Today is my bday, so it’s time to post my bday project 🎂. Thank everyone who joined in 🥰. Especially thanks to my amazing friend @battle-beer-bard.bsky.social 💜. In ALT is the history of party💜. List of OCs in comments💜. #BG3vp #BG3 #TAV #DURGE #VPSupport #VirtualPhotography #ThePhotoMode

The party started outdoors, thanks to the beautiful weather. Miriael brought along her animal friends, who caused a bit of chaos. But the cake was saved from a turtle thanks to the quick intervention of the Astarions ! Ofelia decided to climb onto the table and start loudly singing "Happy Birthday" to Aristen. Zafeiria decided she needed to eat the all ice cream quickly before the animals ate them. Rav decided that a ride on the eagle was a great idea! The other guests started petting to the animals.

When it got dark, the party moved to the terrace. Arrovan decided that it didn't matter where he was - stealing was a must! Astarion didn't notice he had been robbed because he was more interested in the fact that Aristen had received beautiful flowers from Xylara. Innirith and Odilia are going to offer their best wishes to Aristen. One of the guests summoned a demon (to this day, no one knows who it was!), and Saulus decided that dancing with a demon would be fun - fortunately, the demon thought so too! But Astarion was not exactly thrilled that his beloved comes up with ideas like that. Keith, Ziraun, and Tav'ven struck up a conversation. Freckles and Oona decided to take a nap - in Freckles's case, it’s because he is a hyena and isn't really into parties like that, while Oona fell asleep because she probably enjoyed certain drinks a bit too much. Seraphina is trying to find a way to banish the demon, but first she must face Saulus, who has already named the creature and considers it her new pet.

Time to dance! Withers decided to drop by the party with his whole crew of musicians and singers to liven things up! So, we have two violinists - Mia and Lyria and one flautist - Celeste. Tavania plays the lyre and sings. We also have two other singers – Anastasia and Cormac. The rest are partying on the dance floor !

After dancing, it's time for a drink! Valora began conjuring up a mage's hands to pour alcohol for the guests - Kallista really liked this idea ! Saulus’s Astarion is still holding up and singing shanties, while Aristen’s Astarion has collapsed by the bar - though Aristen doesn't even notice, as she is busy goofing around with her sister. Raphael come to the party, but the drinks got the better of him. The rest of the guests are talking and savoring the taste of the alcohol.

One of my first #bg3fanart is the hug I wanted to give #Astarion after completing his quest and him remaining a spawn. The OC was from my first #durge run, Naiad. I never finished it because I never finish anything but it’s still one of my favorites :) #art #digital #lineart

A digital drawing of Naiad and Astarion hugging, after (spoiler!!!) Astarion kills Cazador and remains a vampire spawn.

While we cannot see Naiad’s face, we can assume she’s heartbroken, seeing Astarion like this. She hugs him tightly while he hugs her back, holding onto her like a lifeline.

A moment I wish had happened in the game 🩵

The second outfit is a white shirt with white and silver feather shapes outlined with silver sparkles. The least shoulder and arm of the shirt is black criss cross fabric with the skin showing through. The right hand has an orange glove. The pants are black. Bumble sharks 🐝🦈

A collection of small illustrations of the bumblebee-shark hybrid Humlehaj. She has a yellow body with thick, brown stripes, her shark body very very fluffy! She has two antennae on her head, and a pair of delicate bee wings on her back. She has six fins, all of which are brown. She is depicted on these illustrations as a carefree, happy lass, enjoying flowers, lots of honey and hanging out with her bee besties. Such a sweetheart!

Scapegoat and golden child. This is darker than my usual art and took forever to finish. I wanted to represent how I see Astarion and Leon as the scapegoat and (current) golden child in their vampire “family”, while showing how they are both trapped. #astarion #bg3 #fanart

A drawing of Astarion and his “brother” Leon from BG3. Astarion and Leon’s profiles are drawn in greyscale, facing away from each other in front of a black background. Astarion has a grey chain around his neck and Leon has a gold chain around his. The text from their scars are above their heads like halos, Astarion’s is in red while Leon’s is in gold.
