My daughter informed the stewards about my granddaughters allergy to nuts on an easyJet flight. They immediately removed them from sale, however, they did announce to that effect. My daughter was sat next to one of a few who complained, she did put him right. A bit embarrassed but his selfish shone.

I missed that, drat. I don’t really watch BBC breakfast because of their allegiance to the right wing. I’m a lifelong Beatles fan since seeing them perform at Northwich Carnival and crown the carnival queen. I also saw them in Liverpool in the sixties. The early days were great.

Some v negative responses to posts about Burnham. I understand the cynicism. What I don’t understand is the refusal to wait and see and to look for the positives. Politics cannot be about perfection. It’s compromise. It’s effective communication… and persuasion. Why not be prepared to be persuaded?
