we've just gotten sky tv and dove into 2 series tonight. The climax of Ep 1 of Derry was shocking and suggest no fucks are being given. The Terror is an impressive mix of history & supernatural. Hooked on both so far! #tvseries #horrorsky #horrortv

I make a point of diving into screeners without reading up on them, so usually i only have the DVD art to go by. This one starts shocking, lurches to G.R.I.M. then gut-churning for its finale. Animal lovers AVOID! From the director of Red White and Blue. #DTV #horror #togrimtomention

Good morning friends and happy #LetterboxdFriday! An interesting week; Lenore & The Wave are the sort of unpolished gems I love to find. Alpha made Josh go "wow" and I got a giggle out of Marple turning up in a Poirot movie! #LastFourWatched #Actionsky #horrorsky #whodunnit

#w THE ALPHABET MURDERS, starring Tony Randall as Hercule Poirot, who stumbles into a series of murders in London. This feels more like a light-hearted Krimini than Christie, but there is still a mystery to be solved & Anita Ekberg brings the glamour. Look out for a young Julian Glover, too!

We at @thedtvdigest.bsky.social are really looking forward to this! Even though it was ostensibly a horror aimed at kids, the first film never forgot to be a Horror first and foremost and gave a really nasty sting to its conclusion. #horrorsky #tubi #halloweenhorror

we were pretty impressed by GATOR FACE, a TCM style horror in which a bunch of young friends are pursued by an alligator masked killer who feeds his victims to alligators. Lots of running around, but the kills are very nasty and bloody. Kudos to the alligator wranglers! #horrorsky #slasher #gore

#w MOTOR CITY. Set in Detroit 1977, Alan Ritchson is a blue collar guy who gets set up when he woos a drug lord's moll, eventually escapes from jail to get revenge. Very gritty & stylish w hardly any spoken dialogue but goes full looney tunes in its finale #actionsky #filmsky

#w LE MARGINAL (1983) aka The Outsider. Jean Paul Belmondo is a rogue loose cannon cop playing by his own rules - but he gets results, dammit! Here he's up against perennial bad guy Henry Silva & a young blonde Tcheky Karyo! Good fisticuffs & stuntwork! #Actionsky #Frenchfilm #Procedural

#w THE END OF OAK STREET. The important thing is my son thought it was "Awesome" & "Amazing" & had a great time with it. Me? Just like Mutiny, it demands you leave your brain at the door, otherwise you're likely to scream at every dumb decision, before your brain melts from it's time paradox.
