iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

The fun part of your sleep being destroyed and mostly only napping in various spurts in a recliner is that it also annihilates your hips lol

I am sure it has hurt me professionally but the idea of that website was so repulsive to me from the outset I just never set foot in that cursed land

We have been friends for so long. You know I only post my idiot thoughts out loud. I'm too dumb for it to go deeper or "reach" an "audience"

lol it's just a pairing knife I like

020

👻McBoo🎃 @mikemcgehee.bsky.social · 17h

Exactly. (I snagged an apple for an afternoon snack and couldn't find the pairing knife I like to use to eat it. When I typed apple into my phone, it autocorrected to Apple. Which irritated me and I thus posted a follow up grumbly thought)

Phone decided apple should be a proper noun and it pissed me off and decades of social media has taught me that only the passive voice is funny. Basically what happened

phone.... I am always talking about the fruit. never the company

I really hate this sort of take. someone saying "we're better than this" is speaking aspirationally! you are not clever for insisting we aren't, you are giving people an excuse not to try to be.

More official sounding publication headlines indicate a great deal more confidence in this cowboys team that I would have expected

Couldn't agree more with basically everything in this statement. I had such a blast and Judith Light was incredible especially for me.

Listen to Sean and also me from earlier. The Terror: Devil in Silver is a damn fun thrill ride. Highly recommend

I haven't stopped thinking about this show since I finished it. It gets in you and just kind of burns away in there. Directors include Craig William Macneill (Channel Zero: Candle Cove) and Karyn Kusama (Jennifer's Body), showrunner is Chris Cantwell (Halt and Catch Fire). You're in good hands.

I love this glaring example of why companies should just run their natural course and then die. They are disposable, not the people

Signed up for a shitload of local theater and performance hall event alerts. Gonna just start taking my ass to a new play or show at minimum once a month. I can bitch about the machine output I hate until I rage or I can just go support actual human worthwhile art. So that seems most productive
