there's an account i follow that i really like, but they have a habit of reposting every single quote-post of one of their posts, so every day my timeline gets filled with 20 stupid quote-posts. i literally have to hide their posts after reading them just to avoid the deluge of unfunny quote-posts.

i've also never heard of that country song people are talking about, but keep in mind: i don't listen to country music, haven't listened to radio of any kind in 20 years, haven't watched network tv in 15 years, and i also don't watch tiktok or youtube. i am simply not exposed to popular music.

well i just did an assessment test for a job that i applied to. it was pretty interesting, it tested my reading comprehension, math skills, and spatial awareness. also tested my "job attitudes" so i'm definitely not getting the job now, haha.

i have discovered that if i alt-tab out of diablo 2 on steam and open up chrome to look something up online, it automatically crashes my entire computer. its happened three times now. none of my other games on steam crash my computer that way, its very strange.

watching nfl highlights and i cannot believe the browns won, i mean that's got to be some kind of mistake. also shocked that the saints beat the ravens. feel terrible about caleb williams, hopefully its not a serious injury. at least the steelers looked like shit, that cheered me up.

i still had to go to work last night since i only took off half a night for the concert. but i don't own a wrist brace for my right hand, so i took the metal frame from my left-hand brace and tied it to my right hand with an old belt. not an ideal solution, but it kept my wrist from moving.

i just found out that the latest shadows of brimstone kickstarter, which i thought was already in production and i might receive this year, has only now just completed the *sculpting and design* of the miniatures. they haven't even done the tooling yet. i pledged for this three years ago.

i have started the incredibly long process of painting all my miniatures for the game carnevale. each faction will use the same basic color scheme so it should go relatively quickly, as long as i actually stick with it, but i have about 125 figures to paint, so it won't go that quickly at all.

i finally talked my friends into playing carnevale, my first time actually playing it with other people. unfortunately we didn't get to finish since one of the players had to go home, but everyone had fun so i hope we'll get to play it again at some point. #carnevale

one of my gaming projects this week was to glue pieces of foamboard into all the little buildings from carnevale and dropzone commander. now they're more sturdy and have some weight so they stay put during games. unfortunately now they take up a lot more space, haha. #carnevale #dropzonecommander
