Bumping down the road on this worn old OCTranspo bus, I wonder if phones will someday have so many sensors and so much processing power that they’ll be able to measure their shaking, measure your shaking and stabilize the screen in real-time. Kind of like noise-canceling headphones for video. 🤔

On a bus out of the suburbs at 08:30 AM (night shift done!). The bus is 80% full of young women, likely students going to university, while the male students probably got drunk last night and are skipping class. 😂 Be careful, guys, you might end up working for one of these go-getters sometime! 😅

There’s this young, tall guy at the bus station every night, doing either Tai Chi or cosplay moves. Nice to see someone doing something constructive, honing their craft, instead of being a dumbass and smoking weed like the others.

Thinking of people in Burma and Thailand today. I experienced a lot of smaller earthquakes in Tokyo, but never as strong as M7.7. A lot of desperately poor people in Myanmar with a civil war ongoing. They need help more than ever.

I spent so much time on Twitter after the 東日本大震災. The app connected me to experts and regular folk in a way that I’ve never seen before or since. We all will mourn Twitter - it feels like a family member passing.
