learned about a card in MTG called Necropotence, which I assume is pronounced "Neck-Row-Poh-Tense" like something potent in necrotic energy. But in my brain i read it like incompetence. Like a necromancer who just SUCKS at it.

it's not like, a burned in hard grid, it's more like the rendering was done in chunks of hexagons so you can see the disparity between them. It makes the food look kinda sickly. It's a REAL weird choice, even in the face of the already weird choice of using AI to render your menu images

okay so a bunch of restaurants and cafes near me are using some specific AI model for their product photos (sigh), but it's this one that I think is trying to make hyper-real 'better than reality' versions of stuff, but they all have this OBVIOUS hexagon patterning across them

One neat thing about my apartment is that it is equidistant from two mcdonalds', but if you order nearer the bedroom it selects the much worse location every time. You can play roulette by standing directly between the living room and bedroom and seeing which one it defaults to today.

I am still working hard on learning/improving with watercolors. I like how this one turned out; the flowers got a little messier than I'd have liked, but I still learned a lot. 👍 And I have a good scan of the sketch that I can print on watercolor paper if I ever want to take another crack at it.
