Such cool fish and a great crew! And excited to add a few other species to my list, including Lake Chubsucker!

What would you like to see in a new version of the Habitat Evaluation chapter of Analysis and Interpretation of Freshwater Fisheries Data? #TeamFish The term "habitat" is used in myriad ways...keen to make this revision a useful reference for students and practitioners! Reskeet please!

Any fellow #TeamFish folks have a regression (or data) to convert Fork Length to Total Length for Creek Chubs (Semotilus atromaculatus)? Want to compare our data to an older paper and hoping not to have to collect more data just for that!

Fish friends, if I asked you to quantitatively or qualitatively evaluate the health of this *individual* stoneroller, how would you do it? Any methods are of interest! 🧪🐟

I start out my Aquatic Biology class each day with silly questions to get people started on interactive polling. I'm unreasonably proud of this pun-ny answer to the question "My greatest hits of the 70s and 80s limnology mix includes:"

Proud advisor to my now Master of Science Taher Fletcher, who successfully defended his thesis on the use of side scan sonar to quantify habitat in Ohio reservoirs! Greatful to ODNR and Sport Fish Restoration funds for supporting his work!

I'm an aquatic ecologist who generally focuses on freshwater fishes, particularly how the movement and behavior of organisms influence ecosystem processes from basic natural history to ecosystem dynamics (fluxes of sediment and nutrients). Plus I'm a sucker for suckers (Catostomidae)!
