San Diego, where I lived from age 5-12, and returned to repeatedly for long visits to my grandparents, is beautiful. I love Los Angeles, but San Diego feel like home in some very powerful ways, not the least being it was the longest I lived in one location until P & I moved to Santa Monica.

Problem with working with insomnia? When I couldn’t sleep last night I mistakenly booked on train leaving King’s Cross at 14:30 meaning to book one after 4:30 PM. Since my plane lands at Heathrow at 13:30 (1:30 PM) my being on that train is, to put it mildly, unlikely. 🙄
