Bell and Nikki comic i started and never finished. too many things to do... i like the bg though

A comic depicting an anthropomorphic cat (Bell) and fox (Nikki), both wearing school uniforms for different schools, standing at a bus stop. A strand of smoke is leaking from Bell's head, filling the borders. Nikki sniffs the air, then squints at her.

Nikki: Is your head smoking?

Dudley is a dandy at heart, but he's required to tone down the neckties and colors at work. (Dr. Crowley needs to be the center of audience's attention, not his assistant, obviously.) No frills in the operating theatre.

Here's another example from the court record of Mark and Phillis, two enslaved people from Charlestown who poisoned their enslaver in 1755. The AI summary says they are "described as a man and woman." That's not true. They're described as a "Negro man" and "Negro woman." It's important context!

To be very clear, I'm not trying to use the AI — I'm just trying to read the court documents. It's clear that the AI is programmed to replace offensive language. But what does that mean when it's being used to summarize historical documents? What happens when people rely on the summary?

Recently, FamilySearch digitized and uploaded tons of microfilmed records, including many from 18th-century Massachsuetts. They're using some sort of AI to transcribe/summarize the handwritten documents. I've noticed that the AI strips out references to race and enslavement in 18thc documents.

I have collected a bunch of ex-libris (or bookplates), let me show you some of them. They flourish in the 15th century with the rise of the printing press, to mark ownership of books. Here's one of my fav, you can see that early on they are really personal objects, sometime mysterious or funny.

Bookplate of Hans Igler (Johannes Knabensperg), a hedgehog walking to the left, with a flowering plant in its mouth; a scroll above printed with Gothic lettering 'hanns Igler das dich ein igel ku[e]s'. Woodcut 1470-1480 (circa)

Hi everyone. Transfem artist/arg dev in need of support. 1/2 ko-fi.com/withkindereyes

For the last 2 years I have been living in Boston with my roommate. The day after we signed to renew the lease on our shared apartment, they got accepted into Penn State and are now planning to move there. They are already looking for someone to take over our lease.
There's no way I will be able to stay in Boston.

This leaves me with a few options.

Option 1)
My roommate is planning to rent a 2
bedroom apartment in Pennsylvania, and would be fine with me living there with them for a year if l can find a job in the area. After a year I would be expected to move out since they want to live on their own without roommates. If this happens I could most likely get by on my own between a job, patreon supporters and commissions since rent is cheaper.
Patreon supporters

Option 2)
If I could find a high paying job in Ohio, I could move in with my grandmother in Cleveland.
This isn't really ideal since I would have to leave the house on days my dad visits her.
Option 3)
I'm being heavily pressured to move back in with my mom who would give me 3 months to find a job in Ohio. If I can't find a job within that time frame l'd likely be unhoused once the 3 months are up. Going back to that house would be bad for a number of reasons: less privacy, less ability to talk to people, and it's an extremely abusive environment.

Right now, I'm saving as much money as I can to prepare for this. Any help finding employment in Pennsylvania or Ohio would be greatly appreciated.
I would be totally ok living on my own as long as I can support myself financially. I need to save for covering the first/last months rent on a new apartment, moving costs, debt, monthly expenses, etc.
I'm really hoping in the next few years I can find stable long term housing instead of having to repeat this song and dance every year.
Thank you for your help. •
