I'm all for the aesthetic the Remake gives Jill (works really good for Claire on RE2) but a lot of the personality is gone imo. Especially since the OG gets more Tacticool aspects as the game goes on.

The main problem I have with the remakes as a whole is that they feel as though they need to make the situations in the games more serious/realistic in a way that the original games already accounted for, so a lot of the charm from the originals gets tucked into side content or cheeky references.

Replaying through RE3 remake and man the way the game just flies past large sections of the OG just feels wrong. The gameplay is fine but man it just lacks the "Racoon City is the Mansion" aspect.

Been watching a few interviews with and about never-trumpers, former republicans, etc. and the trend I keep noticing is that their political beliefs aren't really reflecting the "come to Jesus" moment that is often put on them. In fact they often still hold on to the things that got us here.

i think the funniest fighting game balance change ive ever seen is in the formerly-rare umk3 wavenet rather than removing the base umk3 infinites by nerfing chars, instead they kept them in but added a cap to total moves in a combo. if u try to infinite still, the game makes fun of you, LOOOL
