Unrelated, the US Capitol has some of the coolest people movers/subways anywhere like this one. I was lucky to get to ride in a big brass Wonka-mobile on the House side every day for about a year. Every work place should have things like them just to add a sense of whimsy to workers' day.

It's amazing that a majority of Republican voters in Missouri would reject this as the brazen power grab, yet will still bote for the power grabbers in Nov. Race is a factor, but it's really about the GOP alignment on "Guns, God and Gays" in the state and the explosion of fundamentalisr churches.
