I live in DC. There is absolutely NO reason for this takeover. I literally had a picnic on the mall last Sunday & it was gorgeous. I run around DC & the mall by myself at least 3 times a week and have never felt unsafe. This is a travesty for the city & for everyone who live in and love DC

Even though I left my federal job in May, I apparently still have my federal health insurance. So, firing all those HR people probably isn’t saving all the money they thought - I bet they are paying a lot of health insurance for people no longer working there. Great job doge.
