🧵On @thenewsagents.co.uk yesterday, school closures and the lab leak theory were offered as two examples of legitimate questions that were hard to ask. Both have in fact been asked constantly since 2020. But here's a thread on why I think they were wrong and dangerous on school closures 1/12

I managed to do better. PC with dual 6 core, 12 thread processors and 1KW PSU. With NUMA feature enabled and running code with lots of threads it would thrash moving data between the CPUs so it's performance dropped to 0 while CPUs maxed out and fans at full speed blasting out hot air.

Subtracting from 0 (2's complement) OR XOR may still be common so that adding the data and the checksum yields a constant. Doing both is almost a double negative and is the same as adding one to the data. (2's complement and 1's complement) It was a bug by someone who didn't understand checksums

I actually worked on code that generated a checksum for some data by: adding everything together; XOR the result; subtract the result from zero

🔥 Harrods: What do the survivors do now?? The courts, the redress scheme, the police — all form part of the same legal abyss. ◾ Survivors cannot access the courts, let alone for trafficking ◾ Harrods’ “redress” is run by the institution itself ◾ The Met refuses to name the crimes as trafficking

And the whole basis of HMRC's claims are false from the accounting benefitting financially from your business services, and influence through choice of bank account, ignoring that "advice" does not mean "influence"

If HMRC try to use the correct calculation they will also want to open an enquiry into your allowable expenses. That enquiry will be unlawful because it is beyonf the 4 year time limit for opening that kind of enquiry.

You should ask HMRC to correct the determination to base it on your income rather than company turnover. They used entirely the wrong method to calculate the amount owed, meaning it was not "best judgement" The legislation allows for changing the amount of a determination but not the methods.

HMRC will not win. See www.linkedin.com/groups/13140... I reported them to Action Fraud a couple of years ago, but that got nowhere due to lack of corroboration. If any other HMRC victims wish to corroborate to Action Fraud refer to NFRC231006222645

We live in Britain, and there are now profound questions to ask our government. There's no conceivable bridge between Europe & this US administration. Whether we escape tariffs is a laughably parochial question. Yesterday is now an awfully long time ago.

The password from @drewtoothpaste.bsky.social‬ should have included the number 2. It was also too short and missing puntuation. A better password meeting common requirements would be along lines of "cock&2" plus one of his original elements. Some digits at the beginning could make it longer.
