I talk to students/hopefuls/juniors a lot, and while I'd personally argue that "don't" (no matter how well-meaning that advice may be) isn't actually helpful, we owe it to prospective writers to be honest about the dire straits of the industry rn, and the reality is no paid course can get you a job.

I see Titanium Court reviews are out today, and honestly if you're already interested enough to pick the game up I'd say.. Do not read them. Many extensively lay out elements that I think are way more enjoyable to discover on their own. The surprise is part of the experience

My take on the producer disc horse is there will always be bad producers, as there are poor examples of any discipline, and producers and teams are not always fits for one another. A producer is not a magic fix, and one's presence cannot magically ship a game if people are not aligned on how.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Credits for Brent Porter (3D art lead) and Catherine Menabde (2D art lead) are shown here. There's a lengthy description of what they did, with a pastiche of various Demonschool characters underneath, messing around with a computer.
