Batting 481 out of 500 is a remarkable feat on any level. Organizing, executing a solid campaign is vital to defeating Collins. Big plus is this was done by Troy Jackson and Mainers. I know, he personally called me. We don’t need DC consultants running our show w/TV airs wars. #MESen #mepolitics

I don't care what goes on in anyone's bedroom or marriage. It's one of the first revelations I had when still a republican during the marriage equality vote in Maine and struggled to answer what the relationship between consenting adults had on me or why it was any of my business. #mepolitics

I think it’s important to look at the Dem candidates in ME in CD2, gubernatorial, & senate races who don’t get invited to the ‘party’ & ask,“Why not?” Baldacci, Shah, King III, & LaFlamme seem to be on the outs with the other candidates, who have all appeared together outside debates. #mepolitics

Pine Tree Results has amassed more than $12 million in contributions from an array of wealthy donors, including Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman, New Balance CEO James Davis and Palantir CEO Alex Karp. At $3 million it's largest contributor is Stronger America, Inc., which does not disclose its donors. It has also received $1 million from the Lexington Fund. Open Secrets recently reported that the Lexington Fund shares the same address as an organization with connections to judicial activist Leonard Leo, who owns a home in Bar Harbor.

Politicians are great at self-promotion & never miss an opportunity to talk about their accomplishments. Janet Mills isn’t celebrating a ‘win’ for the town of Jay anywhere online. Mills doesn’t have a post on BlueSky, Threads, Instagram, or FB about her veto. Why not? #mepolitics

I’m glad our next Governor and Senator from Maine isn’t going to be Janet Mills. THIS is why younger candidates are needed because someone needs to consider the future of our state. Data centers are not more important than our environment.

In Indonesia, hundreds of poor households got cash payments, and even though it was only about reducing poverty, it led to a 30% drop in deforestation. And in Namibia, a UBI experiment led to a 95% drop in animal poaching. There are things we do to nature purely out of the need for money to live.

Two schools will receive funding in Maine for new construction. They received funding because they burned down, but many other schools have buildings like this one, a portable which has been in use for almost thirty years. Maine kids deserve better schools and better funding formula.

Morning sunrise. Still no leaves on the trees, but it felt like spring this morning. #maine
A medium shot of a blue metal swing set in a playground on a misty morning. The sun shines brightly through the dense branches of bare deciduous and evergreen trees in the background, creating dramatic light rays through the fog. The ground is covered in brown wood chips in the foreground, transitioning to a grassy field. In the distance, a blue gaga ball pit and a wooden fence structure are visible. The overall mood is peaceful and serene.
