But my absolute favourite has to be: Glöyn Byw / Glöyn Fyw Literally translating to mean “living coal” or “living embers of lit coal”. It’s just so fitting and evocative. For those who might not know: The National Eisteddfod is the largest cultural festival in all of Europe. It is one that celebrated Welsh culture.
