"In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library" donate.imaginationlibrary.com

Dolly Parton passed away peacefully on Tuesday in Nashville, Tennessee, according to a statement from her representative.

"A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family. Dolly Parton’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and resilience. With a seven-decade career, she inspired multiple generations of artists and fans with her music and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Her songs will continue to resonate with people of all ages, and her philanthropic work will have a lasting impact.

"At Dolly's request, a small, private service will be held for immediate family."

"In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library."

Before the show the people behind me were trying to teach their friend what mpreg is (but had to start with slash fic first), after the show there is a line of people waiting to take a selfie with a connection conspiracy board of people named in the Epstein files. Well done @garbageday.email.

This has been the thing that keeps coming up with every Head I've commiserated with. Weir was a musical hero but maybe even more than that, he was the last man standing in the spotlight from a group that have created a musical legacy and a community of cultural misfits.

Rolled credits on Skate Story last night. Very cool game with some great one-liners and visuals, but the ending seemed to drag on. Multiple times I thought "surely this is the end" and then no, there was another chapter. Fun controls and worth picking up if you need to kill a few hours this holiday.
