I rearranged items on the vertical back display, housing the helmets and multi-tricket-item collections. The big new display houses (classic) PC games and Big Boxes. Also moved all Playstation games from the TV-cabinet. MGS and Silent Hill series too. Various SNES and DS items to fill up.

Discovered a mod for Project IGI called: Neonix Remastered. Widescreen, high resolution textures, better character visuals, better quality audio + music and a bunch of small fixes/tweaks for modern systems. As of now still 30 fps though. You can find the mod here: www.nexusmods.com/projectigi/m...

The now expected delivery day is NEXT Friday. IF the shipping time is correct, as it has to go to NL first. Pre-ordering something physical games is just a gamble nowadays. Thankfully I'm not in a hurry. I have Zero Company to play.

Finished the DEMO for DERELIKT. It's a mix of Alien Resurrection (PSX), System Shock and Doom 3. Great PSX-visual presentation. Very solid set of features and survival horror mechanics. I did have some small complaints, which I shared through feedback. But this another wonderful passion project!

I was always impressed by GTA V's "living world" and having these wandering around moments that feel really immersive, especially in bad weather. I can't imagine how much this will be "leveled up" in GTA VI.

There's a new port of P.T. using the actual original game data from a backup copy. It's an actual PC port now, with a bunch of PC QOL and extra graphics options to tweak. Say goodbye to those Unreal Engine recreations. This is the real thing.

It's good news... but now I wonder if the game wasn't a success if it would've ended differently. I'm glad we don't have to find out I guess. It's a an amazing game, you all should be proud of what you made. And whoever called those shots should have had more faith, IF that was the issue.

Xbox Series X is a bit more affordable, but not by much. But my main point was buying a whole new console just for GTA VI. We're almost end of this generation so that seems like a waste. And the Xbox doesn't have any console exclusives that I can't get on PC as well. So there is less value for me.

GTA VI is one of the only games I was considering buying a Ps5 for... but I can't. Not at these prices/availability. I just hope a PC version is not too many years out. But I'll have to deal with a bit of FOMO for a year or two when everyone in the world and on live streams is playing GTA VI.

Just met a big character in Star Wars Zero Company (spoiler in image below). A mission that actually gave me goosebumps and makes this story feel a lot more "involved" in the franchise. It also introduces new mechanics and awards you with more customization, extending the road of possibilities.

Oh I believe that's possible for sure. There's so many games that we don't even know of that were cancelled in an early state or even late state and really wouldn't be worthwhile releasing. I just hope they keep giving developers a go at it. It seems to be working.

Well great, there's no way for me to get a Physical PC Collector's Edition for Star Wars Galactic Racer in The Netherlands. I'd have to buy it abroad using a Credit Card. And Amazon UK doesn't accept my Revolut Card. Sad... console versions are plenty available. PC physical editions are rare now.

Another good Star Wars game. And another one not in a action/adventure game type genre. This is good! Aside from the different flavors of story and characters it's nice to see different genres of gameplay as well. And delivering too. These are nice highlights in kind of a grim big games market.

It's Autumn Steam Sale time. No multiple games score this time for me, but I did get "Road to Vostok". It's a one-dev single player extraction shooter that apparently is doing well in it's Early Access development. And €14,62 is not a steep price to support this guy's efforts.

I'd love to see more composers make (orchestral) game covers of older/classic games. But not the Zelda's and Final Fantasies. Lesser "pick me" games like Dark Forces or Unreal. Remixes on YouTube often have that too digital midi sound with out-of-breath trumpets or completely wrong notes/rythm.

Speaking of Big Box physical editions... One I'm still hunting for is the original big box of Unreal. Specifically the edition with the design from the image below, the English version. Very hard to find one that's not falling apart, a different language or way above the budget I'm willing to spend.

AAA gaming is in a downfall. Big Publishers are getting desperate, Sony and Microsoft are culling their developers and try to take control of everything you own by going full digital. Only a select few big studios are allowed to finish their projects now. And big games take way too long to release.

Both "Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection" and "SiN: Reloaded" by @nightdivestudios.bsky.social were released today. Being able to play these with modern QOL is a blessing. Shout out to @antstreamarcade.bsky.social for reviving the classic Alien Breed games. It's such a nice surprise.
