I'm sorry to burst in, but what they said feels performative. And before anyone says "Well at least they had a human review the translations first", apparently according to a few comments, human translators are paid less for correcting AI translations.

Pulling all of this together, we’ve made a chart to highlight our thoughts and show where we need your help to fill in the blanks:

We think this is fine, tools that help you make your own work 1 through 4. Debating, where a label might help you choose we want your input here, 5 to 7.

We’re confident in the left side, but the far right end of the spectrum brings more uncertainty.

The Difference Between Quality and “Slop”

The first challenge is the quality bar. Today, quickly generated “slop” content can be easy to spot, but that’s getting harder by the day. Likewise, it’s already possible for a world creator to include a few generative assets without anyone even knowing that they did so.

As models improve, it will become harder to tell whether AI was used in the creative process. However, it will remain clear if care, effort, and time were invested in a particular work. We believe that quality will continue to remain the differentiating factor going forward, regardless of how AI is used.

Kai Shaikh, a Ph.D. student in mathematics at the University of Toronto, also currently at SLMath, observed that theorems are easy to use as benchmarks, but that they capture little of the wonderment at the heart of math. "Just like a photograph of a mile marker can't provide much of the value of actually going on a hike," he said,
"it would seem to me that proofs without stories, or even stories without struggle or mystery, and first glimpses of strange beasts, are not very meaningful or valuable to us humans."

Why do some popular indie artists/teams sell themselves out? It's either they use AI or license their IPs for Fortnite or they add gacha blind box merch. Like your game/show/whatever else made a bajillion dollars, do you need more money through something extremely unethical? You're no longer indie

Art style concept for a Bomberman inspired roguelike game

A mockup were I did the sprites and art direction of a Bomberman inspired pirate roguelike. The UI is made out of wood and old paper, showing things like the current level and bomb, items and resources.
The level itself is made with sand tiles, like if it was on a desert island. You can see palm trees, destructible crates, hard rocks, a bomb exploding, some designs for the playable character (a thief pirate rat) and the enemies (dead pirate skeletons).
