Basically AI allows software engineers to produce shitty code *faster* and in higher volumes which increases the amount time spent on code reviews and revisions nullifying the productivity gained from producing the code in the first place.

Finished reading Yumekui Merry. Didn’t finish it years ago for whatever reason, but this was such an awesome read. Maybe not perfect, but great action and characters and story. This just solidifies for me I should stop checking new stuff and look back on old media more 10/10 no notes

People don't believe me, but I'm TELLING you, there MUST be an active campaign strategy happening in media published by WB or other parts of JK's team trying to force HP awkwardly and unnaturally into public consciousness. Certainly from the WB side, I've seen multiple properties doing it already.

anti-sona - take the core aspects of your 'sona and create the antithesis to it! I'm no artist, but I took a crack at it and took my squishy flexible 'sona and made a bastard of a golem who's a pain in the ass to even consider drawing. I hate Lorem in a way, but you gotta kill your demons somehow

I'm takin' (almost) any series. I don't even have to have watched it, as long as the storyman is good at WhatIfing

Merol @merol4.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

open to suggestions. Been binging a guy whose focus is DBZ stuff which I've only got a *rough* understanding of the whole story. I can just pick up context later lol

I don't mean a*3 fanfiction, I mean the youtuber makes a What If story for a series and turns it into a video with whatever filler and pngs for visuals. Fanfiction built for listening and not reading

I hope today’s fandom youth can cherish the fandom elders before those ones get sucked away by a job and then somehow a family. It’s scary, and that server friend of yours will one day have a kid half your age at 20

hot take: over half of the card-based roguelikes out there could do something that isn't cards, visually or mechanically. The only limit is imagination and it's only proving to be decreasingly inspired

The literacy crisis is not just referring to people's ability to literally read and write. It's also people's inability to read for context. I've been a public educator for over 20 years and I have never, ever seen it this bad.

the way I feel about 100%OJ these days is like if smash bros kept adding small but more affordable dlc characters every few months, but because they ran out of legally-accessible characters from their available series, they started releasing dlc for yet-to-exist characters and smash-exclusive OCs

People really need to fucking re-learn the difference between "I don't like this" and "This is harmful". Not liking a thing is fine, but you don't get to dictate what others enjoy, actually. Especially not within fiction. Be an adult. If you don't like something, move on.

Happy birthday to Monika! Where are you headed for your club field trip?

An illustration of the Doki Doki Literature Club characters on a train together. In the front, Monika holds out her phone to show something to Natsuki, with the two sharing a pair of earbuds. In the back, Sayori is excitedly looking out the window, admiring a mountainous landscape, and Yuri is absent-mindedly glancing out the window as well, lost in thought.
