It feels so surreal when a doctor takes you seriously about chronic illness. The first time a doctor took my pain seriously I felt like I was the victim of a cruel joke until it was over. Then I cried. Im so glad they're listening to you. Im so sorry it's taken so long.

Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) its absolute savage how cannibalism is a major plot point of this but it still gives you the warm fuzzies and the im not crying your cryings

Mitch McConnell disappeared for three months & kept his full salary. Disabled people are forced to prove they’re “still disabled” just to remain in legislated poverty. Folks on SNAP must re-apply and prove they’re “still poor”. Republican Senators don’t even have to prove they’re alive.
