Why do wolves scent roll? 🐺 When encountering a new scent, wolves will scent roll to mark that area as their own + perhaps even bring the scent back to their family to share the discovery - it’s like bringing home a souvenir! Plus, it looks like a lot of fun!

I took 6 Amazonian wasp stings to the torso to get this shot!! Honestly, it was so worth it - look at these gorgeous gills!! The sting right by my spinal cord I could still feel throbbing for months afterward... all in the name of mushroom photography!!
