Spotted this on a new property listing today. I've taken only a piece of the listing page image, but given this is the front aspect of this house and the front path leading to the door from the driveway - what's wrong with this picture?

I'm not generally a brand basher, but ignoring the appalling photography, please admire the hideousness of one of the better formed 'toothpicks' in this box. Genuinely one of the most unfit for purpose products I've ever encountered. Cannot recommend. 0/10

These are two of our back deck spiders. They rebuild their webs most evenings, and hide during the day. Each are somewhat larger in size than my thumbs in the body, with legs that spread to about the span of my palm. Generally they just hang around in the breeze. Not great photos, it was windy. #Aus

Dear all on the left, wherever you are on the spectrum. This is important. There are no perfect candidates or solutions. Every step, however slight, in the right direction is still better than losing through spite or apathy. You can be sure the other side will vote for whatever keeps them in power.

Post by Mohammed Safa. Best voting advice: Voting isn't marriage. It's public transport. You're not waiting for "the one". You're getting on the bus. And if there isn't one going exactly to your destination, you don't stay home and sulk. You take the one that's going closest to where you want to be.

Our backyard was a chequerboard of seething brown patches this evening - the emergence of the flying ants. It was insanely wet last year and they didn't do their thing. It was kind of wonderful watching them all take off into the sunset.
