Maple Story classic came out a few days ago, but the early access is like... an extortionate price (I refuse to buy it). Releases properly one week before Forever so i'll have that at least for a little bit. But even until then i'm just sat around figuring out what to do with myself 🙃

I need a game to tide me over until WoW Forever releases (not buying into the beta). I'd just smash out some Talishar games but i really can't stand playing card games online...

Can't wait for like, one or two more suspense auras. The new one is very cool and makes the Encore loop really consistent. Also only yesterday did I discover there's a non marvel Te Reo Pleiades card print.

I wish my brain could focus and stick to one hero. Why am I rebuilding Pleiades?!

I can normally force malice quite easily but my pool today had only 5 Acrid Stench for ally discarding (no tolls and 1 blue bone mass) and barely any (reliable) gate generation. I could've maybe forced malice still but I just felt like I'd be swamped with corpses that I can't play out.

I think Viserai is the weakest hero in Usurp and anyone that can squeeze out a win is a magician. In limited at least... I definitely didn't have a really bad sealed pool today for PQ and was forced into Viserai but that was also a shit ass doo doo butt pool...

Perfectly valid bias. I do have two LL decks (a briar and an Iyslander) it's just a case of convincing my budget-minded play group to play LL 😭

Ah yes, I forgot that if you like something you have to be 100% uncritical of it and never ever wish for improvement in its shortcomings despite it being something you care about and wish to see improve.

Thought I found some good ones. Nice and thick, soft and nice feeling, pull up to my long legs nice and easy (6ft tall and it's all in the limbs). Immediately tear the first time I go to the toilet T-T

MeltyCG @meltycg.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Has anyone invented a pair of tights that don't immediately tear as soon as you pull them down to use the toilet?

MeltyCG @meltycg.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I could handle getting 8 per box on average if they were all in-set rarities. I've opened two boxes of IAR so far and got a total of 5 non-expansion slot Ms. I don't understand how LSS expect people to build decks, let alone /want/ to open sealed product.

020

MeltyCG @meltycg.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Not even just reprints they need to address the general pull rates / sealed product opening experience. Not enough people opening boxes cos the pulls are dog shit which is making everything expensive. One can dream of a world where FaB 3.0 is announced soon and is a very good thing for players.

MeltyCG @meltycg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I agree, that extra rarity level helped a lot. I don't agree that felling and plow were over printed. I could be wrong but it feels like more of that set was opened as a result of the reprints at all rarities, which then flooded the market comparatively to other sets.

MeltyCG @meltycg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I've opened 2 boxes of IAR so far and gotten a total of 5 non-expansion Majestics How does LSS expect people to build decks like this? How do they expect to continue to move product?

130

MeltyCG @meltycg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I have fun opening boosters and boxes, then giving the cards I don't need to my friends. Which is nice, except when that also involves pulling zero to two cards for the deck I need every box it just feels so bad.

130

MeltyCG @meltycg.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I think after this set I'm done buying sealed product for FaB. It felt like for a while that things were improving but them going right back to the "no big reprints" playbook and still having abysmal pull rates on standard printings of cards is becoming a bigger turn off with each release.

I cannot overstate the contributions of The Designers Republic. Their artistry is so unspeakably elegant and impressive.

The specifications of a racing craft from Team Feisar. Typography as angled as the vehicle's chassis, minimalist in ornamentation yet every choice disproportionate in effect. Among so many contributions of The Designers Republic.

As though a canyon whose walls are scalloped by erosion, the vaulting storeys of a city of concrete, columns and anonymous windows. All beneath a pale sky almost occluded by the towers that rise in dominance of a horizon invisible. This is the world beyond the safety barriers of the track.

Wipeout 3 (1999). Still transcendent in raw aesthetics, there's a timeless pleasure in precisely gliding over spiraling tracks of reinforced concrete at five hundred kilometers an hour to Sasha and Orbital.

An angular craft, like a stiletto or a surgical cavity separator, with vibrant livery of teal and yellow floats above the concrete. Meters in width, racing stripes legible at unthinkable speed paint the starting positions by an industrial port servicing a superfreighter larger than a skyscraper. This as all other images to follow is a PC emulated screenshot from Wipeout (1999).

The immensity of the track curves down and inwards like a mobius strip of paper. Yellow chevrons adorn the obverse and sides. A craft, white and navy, curves reckless to the implied racing line.

Emerald trees and a sky of cyan. Yet the track is shielded from this idyll by towering panes of glass or transparent polymer. A racing craft's engine flares like a phosphorous fire.

A machine without superfluous geometry. Teal and yellow and with a vibrant engine flare like a falling star. Its tail elongate over the white stripes of the concrete track; its velocity terrifying.
