AutoMatoBirdCon 2017. The biggest animatronic bird convention ever held. 4,000 of us in an arena celebrating the craft. At 1:34 PM it happened: a garage door lifted and Kelly Clarkson drove a combine onto the show floor tearing through anything and anyone in her way. She laughed the entire time.

I didn’t know this and Heat 2 being an adaptation of a Miami Vice episode is perfect considering Heat was an adaptation of a failed pilot-turned-TV movie. The Heat series is all about adapting ’80s TV into noir epics with generation-defining actors.
