How funny, I belong to a community social network. There was a rant from some this past Sunday about this very subject. They ranted that everyone, but especially women, need to dress more appropriately to go worship. And by dressing more appropriately, they meant cover up everything.

I find it amazing how debilitating dysphoria can be when it decides to raise its ugly head. Having to try and stave off thoughts I had grown well past. It defies rational thought.

Oddly enough I didn't even know about double spaces until I got to college. Then I got bullied into using them, not by professors, but by other students. I have double spaced ever since (except on Bluesky when I hit the character limit 😊)

My grandma lived in CT and had scary trees. There was a tree outside the bedroom I stayed in when visiting, that was back lite by a street light. Scared me to death when the wind blew. All because of Poltergeist!

Sadly, I think for a lot of people it isn't real, it is just another video game, another action movie seen. I think there is also another, smaller, group, that has seen so much tragedy that they simply disassociate from it.

I remember them, never had one though. Couldn't bring myself to waste the empty space inside the chassis though. All the chasses(sp?) I ever bought had dedicated space for the 3.5 in. drives and nothing really fit there.

People already do that to their "street legal" vehicles. There is nothing safe about that for the occupants or the people they hit. It is a fundamentally different problem than the safety of the baseline vehicle.

Would much rather deal with a Kei than watch a family get splattered all over the pavement. Another issue with LSVs around me, kids are frequently driving them in neighborhoods unaccompanied by an adult.

The Kei trucks at least have some substantial structure to them and are rarely used to haul families around. Around me I have only really seen them used on farms, for cars shows, and one guy who uses it as his daily commuter during the cooler months.

I have strong opinions on this. Where I live lots of people have LSVs. You can't hardly drive through a neighborhood, a bar, or the grocery store without seeing one. I get chills staring at the kids sitting in the back, thinking what will happen to them in an accident.

I also recently learned that one of my coworkers who has become a friend didn't realize I was trans either. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around people seeing me as a cis. I never imagined in a million years that could happen, especially after I speak But I will certainly take it 🙂
