(4) A lion's mouth. (5) Four people running happily into the sea. (6) A fire breather shooting a plume of flame above himself. (7) An old-timey galleon setting sail. (8) A gloved hand sheathing a sword over a chainmailed shoulder. (9) Stormy cliffs with the quotation "No risk. No story." Overlayed across the whole image is the work's title, Anchoress.

CEMETERY BOYS x THE SPIRIT BARES ITS TEETH A goth trans sorcerer tries to weasel out of his contract with Hell and accidentally resurrects a corpse, rescues a child, and reconnects with his humanity along the way. #QueerPit #YA #F #UF #SN #H

A black background with flames on the bottom. White text reads: YA Horror Fantasy, 85k words. A Not Yet Corpses Agent's Guide

A black background with flames on the bottom. A Tropes/Comps graphic for Not Yet Corpses. Various orange arrows point to the cover in the center, depicting a pale, white-haired teenager wielding a knife and a handful of flame. Tropes: Annoyances to Friends to ???, Devil Deals (with red devil graphic), Stabby Trans MC (with cover of Ander Joseph White's The Spirit Bares Its Teeth), Goths Gays and Theys, Found Family, Accidental Resurrections (with cover of Aiden Thomas' Cemetery Boys), Combatting Oppression (with cover of H.E. Edgmon's The Witch King)

A black background with flames on the bottom. Excerpt from Not Yet Corpses:
“So what do I call you?” he asks.
“Roy.”
“Just Roy?”
Even under the sepia light of the streetlamps, he radiates life. It’s off-putting. Downright annoying, when I think about it too long.
“Unless you want to call me Riordan Payne.”
He laughs. “Weird—I like it. Monster Hunter, Riordan Payne.”
“Not a monster hunter.”
As much as I want to punch him every time he opens his mouth, I can’t shake the pride settling in my bones, watching him do something as simple as running a hand through his hair. You’d never know he was dead an hour ago. I did that, and I'm not even sure how.
Beneath that pride, a primal fear coils inside me. If my patron ever finds out what I’ve done, there’s no telling what he’ll do to the corpse. But I’ve got a pretty good idea what he might do to me. I have to dump this undead body the first chance I get.

A black background with flames on the bottom.
Pitch: After Riordan Payne accidentally resurrects an amnesiac corpse, he'd do anything to get rid of it. He didn’t think ‘anything’ meant making friends with it, rescuing a kid wizard together, taking a road trip across the desert, or reawakening his humanity.
Graphic Title of Not Yet Corpses in white at the bottom, with skulls for O's

THE HAND YOU'RE DEALT is a New Adult speculative heist novel. If you like BABEL for its alternative history, FOUNDRYSIDE for its steampunk-y heists, METAL FROM HEAVEN for its vengeful heroine, or A RESTLESS TRUTH for its historically set sapphic romance, it might be for you! #QueerPit #SPF #NA

Over a black-and-white photo of a section of Sheffield railway station, are superimposed the title, The Hand You're Dealt, and a number of tropes and elements, each with an arrow pointing at the title. These are: alternative, steampunk history, con artists & crooks, a sapphic romance, revenge, misfits & outcasts, heists, a revolution brewing, found family

Maeve has lost everything, but she knows who is to blame and she will make sure he pays.

Eleri has always lived in a gilded cage, and she's done being a prisoner.

Aran has made a grave mistake, and only helping his sister in her plan for revenge can fix it.

Franklyn has never dared disobey his father, but he may just have had enough.

The Hand You're Dealt
- A speculative heist novel
- New Adult
- A queer cast of characters
- Anti-capitalist
- Set in alternative late 19th century Sheffield, England

Excerpt “Who are you?” she asks. “My name is Melody, I’m Lyra’s younger sister,” I say. “You two are identical.” I wish I could ask Lyra if she’s okay with Annie knowing everything. Better yet, I wish I could make her explain it. Her girlfriend, her problem. But I’m here alone, Annie is the one who saw Lyra last, and I want any information she can give me. It’s not like I could pretend I’m Lyra and ask why she ran out last night. I kind of need to tell her. I’ve never had to explain us. I don’t know where to start. It’ll be easier since she can already sense Lyra and I are different people. Somehow. But it’s still going to sound insane to a normal person. “I’m six years younger than Lyra. She died when we were kids, and I… I don’t know what I did but I saved her soul. I kept it.” I press my hand against my chest, careful to avoid the burn. “We’ve shared this body—my body—for over twenty years.”
