Just finished Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett. 👍 The mix of whimsy, dark academia and cottagecore; the neurodiversity of the MC was portrayed as a strength. 👎 The autistic coded MC was presented as lacking empathy (harmful stereotype). Overall, I enjoyed it.

I write SFF. Previously, I was a mental health therapist where I worked primarily with children and youth struggling with severe mental health challenges. I ended up specializing in working with neurodiverse folks, whereby I discovered that I am autistic - which was surprising to no one but me. 👇
