beading project done! I've been fascinated with 3d or lifelike flowers anf this poppy was so satisfying to put together. I used two different shades of reds and the dark parts with midnight blue. The bead of the center bulb is a something like a sage green gemstone, i really wish I knew what stone.

After going through a long and arduous labour of 2 hours, I have successfully given birth to this thing. #beadart #bead #amigurumi #beadwork #beading

a cute beaded baby chick that I have gestated myself in my womb.

My beaded baby chick in the palm of my hand. Tiny little thing. So minuscule.

Something about summer that gets me in the mood to re-watch Noein or Bleach, and it is Bleach that won this year. Also, Ulquiorra is also just so pretty to look at.

I hate how I am forced to use microsoft programs, like "Word", just to do school because the professor can't accept any other file outside of a google.doc or a word.doc. When my laptop was broken and had to get fixed, I had to use the writing tool on my other computer that has linux and I was […]

A very thick white down sleeping bag that looks a lot like a cocoon.

We, as a society, have to bully all people who wear those glasses. They have to be excluted form all social gatherings and we have to make fun of them everywhere they go. But why THE FUCK are Meta workers watch the material? Ah, it's Meta. Of course, they're watching.

Meta Workers Say They're
Seeing Disturbing Things

Great expression that should be used more.

From Twitter

"My grandfather used to say "and Magda Goebbels made a great strudel" and I never knew what it meant until after he died my grandmother explained some magazine did a fluff interview with Magda Goebbels a few years before WW2 that included her strudel recipe and my grandfather, who hated the Nazis with the passion of 10,000 suns, thought it was an example of the media sanitising evil people and he would use the phrase when someone asked him to overlook a bad person doing bad things and focus on the good."

At the risk of pulling the old "economic anxiety" trope to explain xenophobia/racism, it is pretty clear that having gone from strong-yen-wielding world travellers, to impoverished locals welcoming mouth-breathing tourists, in less than a decade, is a strong component of Japan's late-to-the-game […]
