A heart full of adventure in a naive young elf.

[She lifts a hand up, it stays curled as she offers it in Maral direction.] You... Can try to work the poison into the skin, but don't cry to me when it ruins your beautiful scales. I can't get it into the tissue. [She sighs and lets her hand drop back into her lap.] Why injure yourself for me?

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 16h

I will be incredibly injured and the loss of life is hopefully my own. You have seen my scars, steppe runner. How did you think it would escape? [It looks as if a tear is starting to form up.]

My magic will back up. It will look for a way out of me. [Deep breath.] You do not need to see me like that. So let us hope my hands cooperate soon.

We've survived yet again to WoLship Saturday. Please imagine the things they do to dote upon each other over a distance. Things packed ahead of time before someone is out the door, things prepared before their return. Notes, items often forgotten, meals. Or don't. I ain't ya mom.

Ailment... [She whispers.] They are punishment. [The skin of Mei's palms already looks irritated and almost blistered where the bit of the salve had managed to be applied.] Listen to me, if I cannot direct my holy magic again by sundown, you will leave, alright?

Emet's got soul sight. Point at the real Meilin, and then snap to dismiss the glamours because how dare. This goes for Azem!Mei & ancient Emet too. He has her soul memorized. He always knows her.

Haurchefant only needs to start going on about how lucky he is to be surrounded by so many images of his dear star, Mei's ears would light up like a Starlight Tree. (And then he'd continue after pulling her in, the most beautiful one is his.)

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

Mei has one full and complete bratty meltdown in early HW and Haurchefant very much enjoys taming her. (Tho they both agree the whole situation around why she was so wound up was not worth repeating.) Azem!Mei is a complete gremlin how do you think Emet controls her

[She looks straight at Maral.] I cannot feel my hands. The salve... Helps.

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

Now is your time to escape me as I would have no way of capturing you back. [Her voice is frighteningly strained but she winces at her own venom.] The salve will burn skin if you do not wash it off quickly. I've never tested it on scale, but I can imagine it is not good there either.

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

My thanks. [She reaches out with both hands cupped together, and they tremble as she takes the box that is clearly not that heavy.] [It looks like it takes great effort to open it and take some of the sharp smelling gray salve inside and coat her palms.]

100 1

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 17/10/2026

[It sounds like a pained exhale.] There is a wooden box in my things. Can you get it for me? And. [A sharp inhale.] Please be careful handling it. The salve inside is caustic. [Exhale.] Please.

Sharing my final piece for Fight Club: FFXIV Arcadion zine! #arcadionfanzine 🎨 I had so much fun on this project and the community in this zine was especially friendly!! 💕 I drew Sugar Riot in a quiet moment as she remembers some of her creations coming to life...🍮🐈‍⬛🐏 #xivart #ffxiv #art

Sugar Riot sitting on one of the rooftops in Solution 9 with her paints next to her. Ghostly versions of her Gimme Cat and Yan artwork come to life in the neon lights.

Long. Strong. [Her voice is tight and she's sitting no less undone than before, her usual gloves sitting across her thigh with her hands resting in her lap. Her eyes are closed.] Maral, can you... Nevermind. [She still doesn't open her eyes.]

[She puts a small wooden container on the floor between them, in arms reach of them both.] If you wish to try it. It's made for my... I made it. It helps sometimes. Other times it just burns. I'd recommend washing your hands so it only lingers where you need it. I have incense, if you prefer that

I think Mei/Alisaie will live in my strange "everyone lives" AU land as a casual thing. XI-isekai Meilin would enjoy the pairing cause she's tired of elvaan men and their bullshit. Have you MET Trion

You don't need to speak, silly boy. [She sits nearby, her knees up so she looks awfully small on the floor near him.] Is it...?

Mei/Artoirel (once she settles down from adventuring) but ehhh. She loves Haurchefant, and having her settle with his "rival" growing up felt wrong. Mei/Urianger was a 1.0 thing that just never came back with ARR Mei/Alisaie, they were both bottoms.jpg

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 16/10/2026

[Pulls her hands behind her back.] And good morning to you too, my dear. [she flashes an unconvincing smile.] I'm fine, sleep and I had a disagreement. Nothing something warm can't fix. [She reaches for the kettle over the fire but it falls out of her hand.] [She makes a pained, deep sigh.]

010 1

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 15/10/2026

Special shout out to meeting Emet in Elpis. He's berating her - "You do not know me!" And Mei, who has feeling in her hands for the first time in years, who has never touched him with her bare hands, regrets immediately turning herself into a bastard light warden to get him to realize it.

110 1

Meilin Kikkano @meilinkikkano.etheirys.social · 15/10/2026

Mei comes out of DSR and decks the wandering minstrel - "How DARE you let me touch him, hold him, hear him call my name and then TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME?!?" Ameliance hears her breaking down in public, and gets Alphinaud, which also doesn't make the breaking down any easier.

Dreams of Haurchefant's death are incredibly frequently. She remembers every time she drops something because she can't feel her hands. She should have recognized the enchantment on the attack sooner and counterspelled and stemmed the bleeding. Instead she was an emotional MESS and panicking

She can sing pretty well and isn't shy to accompany Artoirel's playing when she's home. Sicard is also impressed by her shanty knowledge! She did enjoy playing music, a flute, a harp, but with her hands so damaged post heavensward, it's impossible.
