Capability of emotion - including ability to laugh and cry - is determined by volume of CSF delivered to the brain. Any brain impact, and plaque constricts flow, so you lose volume. Theory: people with ptsd and dementia have an orthopedic injury even years later that can be easily eliminated.

After medical school, I started residency in 2005. My salary was $35K. On average, I worked 80hrs/week. It was less than minimum wage. Yesterday, I learned our trainees are now making around $100k. Yes, there is twenty years of inflation there, but this is clearly proof that unions work. #medsky

100% inability to emote is a disability, but the same 100% it's the consequence of orthopedic obstruction to brain function, so it's easy to treat. (they will reduce the obstruction, a choke collar of plaque, in a breeze of a surgery (myelinectomy?) with a night or two in recovery.) #medsky
