took 15 years, but the dental filling i had in my inner, upper right molar just decided to absolutely disintegrate on me and it was the wildest feeling. literally just having some food when out of nowhere, CRONCH, and now there's a hole in my tooth. Wack. not in pain or anything, just feels WEIRD.

My PC being exclusively used for VR these days means my electricity bill this last month has seen an all time low, since I’ve been on for a grand total of -checks notes- 1 night. Seriously, my PC is just gathering dust most of the time. If MacBooks could do VR I’d flat out just sell this thing.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes at university. Spooky. But fun! I’ve no idea what to expect! :D All I know is I had the hindsight of walking all over and inside the campus last week to mentally map out where everything is so I’ll at least know how to get around. Now to try and get sleep…

So, good news - I was accepted to university! I start at the Social Worker Program at the end of August! Does what it says on the tin, so in 4 years I'll ideally be a social worker/counselor! I also plan to build towards a BSc in behavioral science (major in psychology), but that's a secondary goal.

As much as I love iPods I do go back to Apple Music sometimes just for convenience. It's my chosen platform for a few reasons. My favorite thing is cloud sync. A7X's self-titled album isn't in the EU - but I have it on CD. So I can just rip it, put it in AM, and boom. It's everywhere. Good feature.

Having younger siblings with a big age gap is so cool man, cuz you're consciously there for their whole childhood. I'm 30 & my sister is 14 and having seen her go from little a googoo-gaga infant to someone I can have real and serious conversations with is both mind-boggling & cool at the same time.

being buttered by my teacher aside, i'm actually terrified about the summer. i get my scores in may, that'll clear me for the fall most likely - but June-August is a fucking mystery for me financially. at best i can maybe take a few extra courses, but id rather not build up the debt even more. mmh.

I really wish ID Software would pick up the Commander Keen franchise again. Not just because they're fun games but because they're, to many peoples surprise, essential to the lore of DOOM and Wolfenstein but have been delegated to small easter eggs in either series.
