A good fresh Star Trek take on those fake isekai title jokes

A tumblr screenshot showing a post and two reblog responses, reading:
1. "star trek would be the ideal fictional universe to get trapped in because you'd explain your situation and they'd be like yeah makes sense. no further questions. fortunately we can use the mysterious warp signature emitting from this system's icy moon to counterface with the solar radiation and slingshot you back home"
2. "I'm from a universe where your world is all a work of fiction." Benjamin Sisko, nodding. "That happened to me once."
3. "I Got Isekaid Into The Star Trek Universe And They Quickly Understood What Was Happening"

Given that today marks 60 years of star trek, I thought I'd share some pictures of a star trek inspired VRChat world project I'm working on, based on the bridge of one of my favorite spaceships, the NX-01. #VRChat

A wide view of the vrchat world in progress, of the bridge of a spaceship. There is a screen in the front of the circular room, and various chairs and tables arranged around the sides of the room.

A fluffy anthro cat with beige fur, a tan chest, and sand blue stripes and markings, as well as bright blue markings under the eyes, stands smiling in front of a warm pink background. He is drinking soda to keep cool and refreshed in the summer heat.

Honestly, one of my favorite elements of furry conventions is the veritable effusion of art. The Dealer's Den is, yes, a space of shopping and even consumption, but... it's also an enormous gallery of the styles, visions, & labor of the artists who are present to enjoy your admiration. I love it.

I managed to finish the fursuit head in time for Anthrocon! It's quite rough, but for a first attempt, I think it came out reasonably well- and it matches the tail I made. I was up until 3am this past night working on it so I could get it done before I left. #anthrocon #fursuit #fursuitmaking #furry

One of my goals for the year has been to finish my fursuit head in time for Anthrocon. I've been pushing off other projects to work on it, but now it's days away and I'm still behind schedule. I basically need to do nothing else but work on it all weekend if I want to have it ready...

I had a great time at this year's Furality! It was fun to hang out with friends for the weekend, and to see how all the communities in the VR furry fandom come together to share our creativity. That fun and creativity is what brought me into this community to begin with. #furry #furality #vrchat

there’s something about being in VR furry spaces that changes you. you become someone who knows, personally, the radical transformative re-interpretation of the self. a self crafted by *you*, even if all you did was take an avatar and play with its sliders. it’s the you you chose.

So I've been working on making a dragon fursuit head for myself out of foam off and on over the past so many months, and after a lot messing around and fretting over how bad it looked, I finally have it at a place I like! Hopefully I'll start furring it soon. #furry #furryart #fursuit #fursuitmaking

Just saw the Mandalorian movie yesterday, which, as someone who grew up loving Star Wars, was gonna happen eventually. Best thing I can say about it is it felt like a fun adventure from out of the old expanded universe, like the books or games- I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Introduced some friends to Star Trek the other day! We watched an episode from the original series and TNG each (Balance of Terror and First Contact) and I look forward to us watching more. That being said, I can't help but be partial to the NX-01 myself... #startrek #furryart

Since I haven't shared it here yet, here's the art I'm using as a profile banner- inspired by The Surrender of Breda, a painting by Diego Velazquez. I drew this with pen and markers several years ago and included some of my friends' fursonas in the scene. #art #furry #furryart

Two groups of anthro furry characters, including dragons, avians, cats, protogens, etc, all dressed in 1600's attire, stand across from each other in a field. They are carrying pikes, muskets and banners, but in the center, two figures greet each other from both sides, and one figure leans forward to hand a key to the other. The scene and characters are arranged after the manner of the painting that was its inspiration.

A seagull enjoying some kibbeling at the Binnenhof. 🇳🇱 #furryart

An anthro seagull leans against a tree, holding in his hand a tray of fried fish with sauce. He is wearing an orange shirt and a red, white and blue hat in the pattern of the Dutch flag. Behind him, across the water, is the Binnenhof, a centuries old Dutch government building in The Hague, made of brick, with tall windows and angled roofs. A crane can be seen in the background.
