By “it’s coming to my attention” I obviously mean I bought one. :/

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

It’s coming to my attention that astrologers are just selling recordings of their lectures on their sites that are just zoom meeting recordings they do for other groups? Insane.

The Full Moon shines favorably on another venture. This time, a series deep diving into the daimon. We begin - as we often do - with the beginning. youtu.be/5x07_-9V3l8

Hey, you anti-science dumbasses: Punxsutawney Phil can't predict the end of winter by looking at his shadow. There is no meaningful correlation between the angle of the sun at a specific time and the length of a season. He does it through haruspexy.

Planets caught between the aspects of benefic planets experience the condition called “veneration”. Here they are protected, cushioned, safeguarded. Or, as Tilla would tell describe it: bubble wrapped.

I could go on, and obviously these issues predate the 2020 conjunction, but just think about how this combination of planets in Aquarius has brought this sign to the forefront of how we handle air element topics like socialization, information, and widespread connection.

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

Finally, many astrologers like to talk about signs in comparison to their opposite, for Aquarius that's Leo. What's the balance to Leo's authenticity and individuality? I'd say probably conformity and we're seeing it now as platforms and reps from those platforms conform to where the wind blows.

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

Aquarius is a fixed sign and loves labels. These labels serve as identifiers to tell Aquarius what does and doesn't belong. Associated with cleansing rain in the Northern hemisphere, purification is another strong theme of this sign. If ideas don't fit the label, they get washed out.

160

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

With Gemini and Libra, ideas are circulated, but Aquarius delivers, directs, and serves ideas to us. Pouring them into our cup for consumption like the hidden algorithms deciding what we do and don't see. We're becoming more aware of how this skews our perception these days.

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

This first official Air Great Conjunction in Aquarius is flexing both Saturn's and Aquarius's powers over information and social structures. It brings a very top-down approach to how ideas are directed. Directed is I word I use deliberately.

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

About 1/4th of the way in isn't a bad time to start to see things unfolding. The most difficult part is the 2020 conjunction was the first official great conjunction to occur in air signs in 500 years. We got a peak of the Air Great Conjunctions in 1980 in Libra showing progress and democracy

150

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

The Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 2020 was all we could talk about for like 4 months, and now you hardly see it referenced. That influence doesn't just vanish, but will be in the background until 2040. The 2020 conjunction occurred in Aquarius and we're starting to see how it's going.

View of the Cancer Full Moon rising over the mountain from my porch. She enters the Tenth lunar mansion tonight. A lovely first full moon of the year...if we ignore how closely conjoined to Mars she is. 😅

They say God never gives you anything you can’t handle, but the planets absolutely will.

The Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars all have at least one opportunity in 2025 with Venus in Pisces starting us off right out of the gate on January 3rd. I tried to make this as exhaustive a list as possible, and there might be some super location specific charts not shown so keep an eye out!

December 19th at around 22:15 local time will bring an opportunity for a Regulus fixed star talismanic election. Regulus and the Moon rise on the Ascendant while she immediately applies the trine to the Sun. Break out the celandine and garnet!

What can we do about it? Well, "say what you mean, mean what you say, don't say it mean" is really great advice to live our lives by. Especially in more tense time periods like this. Choose your battles, prioritizing those you thought you already fought and won.

000

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Tools breaking, sources of heat going out, and electrical issues are common during Mars retrograde. My electric fireplace went out yesterday in a great example of a two-for-one. Be mindful of fire safety, especially if Leo is the sign of your fourth house.

000

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Reopening wounds - figuratively and literally - is a common Mars retrograde experience. Especially if you have a history of issues or injuries in parts of the body signified by Leo (spine, heart, eyes) where the retro starts and Cancer (chest, breast, eye) where it stops. Be mindful and be gentle.

100

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Anger is a core component of Mars's identity. During his retrograde, we come face to face with situations that elicit anger in us that we thought we had come to terms with. Most likely related to the house Mars is in Mars retrograde can be summed up with "You thought you handled this? Think again!"

120

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Like the planet's motion, retrograde periods often force us to look back on things and hinder forward progress. With Mars this will lie primarily in confrontations where we find ourselves rehashing arguments we thought we resolved, this time with a chance to end it more advantageously.

110

Medieval Astrology Guide @medievalastroguide.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Mars stations retrograde today at 6° Leo! How exciting! This will be especially noticable for anyone experiencing an Aries, Scorpio, or Leo ruled year. How are we going to get through this? Well, like we have all of the other ones, but some things to watch out for:

The moon is associated with travelers and liminal spaces. I feel that deeply whenever I’m in an airport. No matter where we come from or what language we speak, we’re all just…stuck here together waiting to get to our next place.
