Met a S1 Joyce Byers cosplayer today in my WSQK shirt She asked "Have you seen my son?" Holding up the poster. I said "Yeah, he's in Vellaki. I'm sorry." She responds with "But he's been talking to me through the lights!" I buffer then answer "I'm from your future. Don't worry you'll find him soon"

Were 90s kids clamoring for a Batman cartoon with 1930s Art Deco aesthetics? Is that what the market demanded? Or did some really smart creative people have a vision and make a genre-defining hit that sustained 20 years of TV shows? If you want success look for vision, not just metrics.

So I went to explore Tumblr for a bit to try and feel more of the Stranger Things Finale hype a few days ago and - Coming back here, it feels like it never happened. The world just keeps... Going. Unfortunately, I think I needed that. Hi Bluesky ♡ Welcome to 2026 I guess.

So this has happened to me once before thanks to Netflix... It happened with Umbrella Academy. And now it's happened with Stranger Things? There's a whole doc about what's happened for those up to date on Vol 2 as well. Link to doc in next post; c.org/wPKBjnQJQK

A collection of 8 fanarts of Axel/Lea from Kingdom Hearts and Elsa from Frozen (and Kingdom Hearts!) being cute, fluffy, flirty, and/or badass together. In the middle is where the picture of the artist is supposed to go, which is just a picture of my feet in blue socks with white Doctor Who symbols (tardis, bowtie, 3D glasses).

In case you've never experienced anxiety/general anxiety, your brain gaslights you, CONSTANTLY Imagine second guessing everything cos you suddenly think "ok but what if?" And then you obsess over it because you can't trust yourself It's so exhausting fighting it, but with practice you get better

I'm in reality escape mode 🤷 I'm sorry 🙏 but I can tell everything is a lot when even my mum wants to cancel Christmas - but we are in too deep now ;-;

My brain has a set tracklist of fandoms atm but shuffle keeps kicking in randomly. And it's more fandoms than I normally juggle 👀 - Escape the Night - Percy Jackson - Stranger Things - Five Nights At Freddy's - Reboot: The Guardian Code This is BEFORE any fandoms included for my friends sake's btw

020

Mechkura @mechkura.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

If I suddenly don't answer you for a while it's because I'm caught between a Reboot fanfic, binging Escape the Night again now there are new episodes, and sleeping, if I'm lucky 😂

010

Mechkura @mechkura.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

Not me returning to my fanfic roots with an agenda, why would I do that? 🤷 - Simple idea became a series of ideas - Relatively small fanbase - 3 part/book act with room for my own spinoff - Probably gonna be planned to hell and back but never written to completion 💀 You can visit my AO3 for proof 😂

Mechkura @mechkura.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

I low-key wanna write a Reboot: The Guardian Code fanfic. But idk if anyone would like it/would read it 🤷 Some day I'll be able to find a place to watch the OG show Reboot it's based off of too. That'll be cool :)

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you own a PSP I recommend you check your batteries. Earlier this year, as I prepped to put my PSP into storage, both my OEM and third-party batteries were swollen. Apparently it's a rather common occurrence. 'tis the season to keep your stuff safe.

Bnnuy Gloves! Father being friendly(?) to Hyou, who belongs to @itsashowtime.bsky.social !! #TWEWYOC #OCFather #SalOCs #OCSky

Digital comic featuring Hyou, an OC belonging to itsashowtime.bsky.social, and Father, my OC. Hyou is wearing his bunny hood when someone calls out to him saying "HEY HEY!! MR. BNNUY HOOD!" He turns around and sees a multi-coloured pair of gloves folded into a bunny rabbit. The Glove Bunny says "HIYA! I'M A BNNUY TOO!" Hyou it completely smitten by the glove bunny.

The owner of the Glove Bunny is revealed to be Father as he reaches forward and pinches Hyou's cheek with a different Glove Bunny on his other hand, saying "GOT YOUR CHEEK~!" Hyou is overwhelmed by the cuteness and wonders "Why? Who? Cute! But Why?! But Cute...?!"

I know that objectively, "LSB" and "RSB" are completely sensible names for clicking the analog sticks of a gamepad. But I grew up with L3/R3, and that's what I'll continue to call them out of habit. Same goes for those wacky central buttons--they'll always be "Select" and "Start" in my heart.

My bro-est of bros before I realised I was more into IRL hoes 😂 only saying it for the sake of the saying (I love fictional people equally regardless of gender but irl I do pref women more, but don't limit myself to haha) I finished KH II before I even finished 1 and I just loved the intro a lot 😅🥰
