16 Trucking Companies Just Went Bankrupt in 30 Days
At least 16 U.S. trucking and logistics companies have filed for Chapter 7 or Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the past month. The freight sector is under serious pressure.
Soaring diesel prices are the biggest culprit. Rising insurance rates, equipment maintenance, and labor costs are piling on. Some carriers filed Chapter 11 to restructure their debt and keep trucks rolling.
