I get that Lanterns wrestled with some of this. I haven't watched but I followed it, and I may sometime. I'm just saying every supe is not a homerun archetype, and that's ok. Where it breaks down is the internet treating it all like it's a deep scripture filled with wisdom.

Nerd topic: the last 3 months have really taught me that I do not like Green Lantern. I don't like the nerd discourse, I don't like the idea that willpower conquers all, I don't like the Guardians and how they can never be trusted but people keep doing it anyway, I don't like colors for emotions.

My take would be that this is Marchese knowing this is off, but being deferential to a famous person he is interviewing. Rock is just extremely wrong, but loves that it's an "edgy" take.

V funny, but also *is* Cotton stopping this? Why? It always seems like the last easy bipartisan win, I would love to know why Cotton wants to die on this hill.

Clearly I should be adapting this into a horror screenplay.
