I’m a big fan of Home Assistant, but the web ui was terrible to use on my Sonoff NSPanel. So I put together a small native android app that responds much faster to user’s input, and it’s just as easy to configure (yaml file). [1/2]

A little personal update. My time at Reddit has come to an end. The job market has been tougher than I expected, and while I'm still looking for my next role, I've been pouring a lot of energy into my own apps instead, both old and new ones (👀).

100%! Maybe max bandwidth issues? Or maybe manufacturers don’t want to risk it because there’s too many usb c standards, and the average consumer definitely doesn’t know which one they have. I have no clue myself when looking at the different devices I own!

My 4th gen iPad Pro drops dead in just a few hours, and Coconut Battery values it a 75%, so I thought “ok, time to replace it”. I went to the Apple Store, and they told me “it’s 81%, so you’re not eligible for purchasing the replacement. But you can upgrade to an iPad Air”. 80% is the threshold.

I forgot I started recording my location with OrganicMaps *years* ago, it even recorded the altitude while I was on a plane. Good job.
