Agentic workflows have been great to reuse obsolete hardware. I have a full fledged agent working on a 2013 MacBook Pro, now running Ubuntu, and it’s hosting multiple services - some of which has built itself

I’m a big fan of Home Assistant, but the web ui was terrible to use on my Sonoff NSPanel. So I put together a small native android app that responds much faster to user’s input, and it’s just as easy to configure (yaml file). [1/2]

In the past I’ve generated codes multiple times because I either lost the file or didn’t remember when the codes were expiring. Well, no more! If you’ve been in the same situation, you can now use CodeVault to manage the codes you’ve issued. And yes, it’s free and open source! [1/2]

I’m looking for some testers for trying out RideNav, a motorbike-first route planner and navigator! Some features: - pick your roads! You can choose much more than “avoid motorways”, and set preferences to the type of roads you want to ride on. [1/3]

A little personal update. My time at Reddit has come to an end. The job market has been tougher than I expected, and while I'm still looking for my next role, I've been pouring a lot of energy into my own apps instead, both old and new ones (👀).

My Vinyl+ has grown a lot this year: ✓ Collection export ✓ Smarter sync ✓ More widgets ✓ Follow collectors ✓ More insights There will be some pricing updates on the 15th of January: $9.99/year or $29.99 lifetime Current subscribers: you keep your current rate. No price hikes!

My 4th gen iPad Pro drops dead in just a few hours, and Coconut Battery values it a 75%, so I thought “ok, time to replace it”. I went to the Apple Store, and they told me “it’s 81%, so you’re not eligible for purchasing the replacement. But you can upgrade to an iPad Air”. 80% is the threshold.
