I wrote about Elon Musk, and why it bothers me that he is still first and foremost described in the media as an entrepreneur, rocketeer, or tech mogul, when the most salient fact about him is that he is now the world's most powerful white supremacist. religiondispatches.org/2026/10/06/e...

(1) Susan Collins looks ancient in this debate (2) Basically Collins wants a cookie for getting Trump to withhold part of his absurdly unconstitutional tariffs, when senators should be fighting to end them all: congress, not the president, controls taxation.

Calling a shit ruler "poorly-advised" is the oldest propaganda trick in the coward's book. It, quite literally, is the reason that an English king from the early 11th century was called "Æthelred the Unready" which translated to "Æthelred the poorly advised." He actually just sucked!

This starts with her aggressively trying to link him to the Muslim Brotherhood. I'd like to see someone turn the tables on this. "You're Christian, right? Did you support Timothy McVeigh? Did you agree with Dylann Roof? Or Eric Rudolph? Robert Lewis Dear? No? Even though you share their religion?"

Just a reminder: Tillis persuaded the woman Hegseth allegedly raped to come forward with her story, and told her that if she did, it would sink the nomination. She did. At great risk to herself. Tillis then cast the deciding vote for Hegseth. Because he’s a goddamned coward.
