This is mostly a joke, but there was a point where, due to a bug, the agent picked a square that had already been taken. In my Xs&Os addled state, I did briefly think I'd reinvented the game. Balatro-level success here I come! Then I took a breath and realised, "wait... this... this is nothing"

Spent the weekend trying to learn about #ReinforcementLearning by training an agent to play Xs & Os / Tic-Tac-Toe. An unexpected side effect is that by playing dozens of games of Xs & Os over a 48-hour period, I have Stockholm syndromed myself into believing that it is the greatest game of all time

I have created the world's first and only "QUINTUPLE A" gaming experience #gamedev #AAAAA

A screenshot of Visual Studio Code which is showing a very basic game written in Python. The script is running in the terminal in the bottom half of the screen. The print statements describe what is happening in the "game". Two characters are introduced. Urvarg is introduced with the line "It's Urvarg, baby!". Rolf is introduced with "It's Rolf! Keep Rolfing Rolfing Rolfing Rolfing" in a very vague reference to Limp Bizkit. Both then introduce themselves with variations of "Rarg, I'm a scary guy, watch out for me!!! OOOooohh". Urvarg then attacks Rolf 5 times. After the 3rd one, Rolf is on 0 HP, so he should be dead, but the script isn't sophisticated enough to pick up on that.
