This was a fucking disaster and I hate myself for the mess that I have made, but I did, in the end, produce something almost kind of edible and curry-like.

The 9 games that shaped my taste. With the exception of Runescape I still play all of these fairly frequently. If there had been a tenth slot I would have also included either Zoids: Battle Legends, or Custom Robo. Crystal wasn't my first Pokemon, but it remains my favorite to this day.
Pokemon Crystal Version, Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, Sid Meier's Civilization III, Rome: Total War, Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, Runescape Classic, Shining Force, Zoo Tycoon, Super Smash Bros.

Not all of these would make my all-time fave list, but these are the ones that I was exposed to first and which stoked my love for anime and manga. I debated about putting Kenshin on here given how it has been tainted but it was the first anime I ever got personally invested in.

I would pay stupid amounts of money to see this scene recreated in live-action. (or high quality animation)
A full-page illustration from American Vampire. In it a man underwater in an old-timey diving suit in the foreground is startled by the appearance of a naked, bestial vampire. The vampire has large bony claws, a distended jaw, and huge fangs. He is saying "Hello, Motherfucker! Got any candy?"

That’s the survey the map thing is based on, but the weighting in the new one is done by AI, and there are additional questions ”written” by AI.
Answer all 122 questions from the original Harvard Dialect Survey and 26 supplemental questions added by Al.. The map updates in real-time as you answer questions.
Note on sources: This extended quiz contains all 122 questions from the official Harvard Dialect Survey, plus 26 extra dialect and pronunciation questions (such as "coyote," "theater," or "genuine") modeled from other linguistic sources and studies.
An Al coding agent added these questions and their weights during the construction of the full quiz

This came to me fully formed the last time I witnessed a certain recurring argument on the Star Trek forums, and now I must inflict it upon all of you.
The 'Gee Bill, Two Wieners' meme format but Lt. Worf from Star Trek is photoshopped over Bill. The Text reads "Gee Worf! How come your mom lets you have *two* wieners?" to which Worf replies "We do not discuss it with outsiders".

I am very sorry.

Peter Falk wrote this whole episode so that he could make out with Faye Dunaway. I had noticed that there were zero mentions of Mrs. Columbo so far in this one but I did not expect him to go this direction. What a sly dog.

Nameless Basset Hound spotted, the surest sign of a quality Columbo episode. This one was written by Peter Falk, so it's loaded with fun Columbo-isms; using an ashtry to hold eggshells, showing up to a crime scene in his pajamas, it's great.
Columbo and his nameless basset hound, which is canonically 21 years old as of this episode (It's All in the Game, 1993) and looking fantastic.

Went out to do some laundry and found this neat partial lizard skeleton. Probably an Anole given the size and skull shape. Not sure what I’m going to do with it yet but it might make for a neat element for a miniature or diorama.

I don't know if people know this, but you can just make a little guy, and then he exists.
A miniature I kitbashed and painted for a friend's Dungeons and Dragons character. He's a Warforged paladin of Lathander, inspired by Warhammer. Visually, he's a very rusty robot man with a walking stick of bleached bone strung with prayer talismans, which also adorn his armor/body. His head is a metal skull with a speaker grille for a mouth, and he is wearing a fancy red hat.A side view showing the prayer tags on his pauldrons, which are actually satyr shields painted to look like bronze and bone instead of wicker.A rear view, showing the boiler apparatus on his back which provides him with power, as well as the hoses I scavenged from a lego scuba tank.

"The Devil in the Dark" is one of my favorite TOS episodes. The Horta is very cool, and it's the first non-humanoid alien we encounter that isn't a nebulous energy being. It's also a great Spock episode, in which he is borderline insubordinate in the interest of science and preserving life.

"Arena" is such a good episode, it's kind of sad that the only part most people remember/know about is the couple of awkward punches at the beginning of the fight with the Gorn. It hits all the classic Trek themes and gave us one of our first actually alien-looking aliens to boot.
