Ahh, gotcha. I understand the sentiment, and it is commendable that Sega tries with Sonic to want him be a big deal. But they need to actually try and show that they are capable of making a big, incredible experience with Sonic, and they are yet to achieve that, imo.

I don't see how is that a bad thing? Just because the 3D Mario games for the most part follow what 64 did, that doesn't make them a little less unique in their own way. Each one at least can stand out on their own with what they bring. And calling them "gimmicks" just sounds disingenuous.

In just a few days, it will be one year since the April 2nd Nintendo Direct for Switch 2 where we all got excited and extremely angry. That was a day I will never forget for the pure whiplash of emotions I felt during that time.

So far, I think I'm in day 20 or something, and I have progressed quite a lot. Already obtained diamonds and got me a diamond armor, and diamond tools, working in a farm, and getting breeds of cows to have books and enchant my pickaxe for the best enchantments. Once I do that, I'll go to the nether, hopefully find a fortress and not die.

-plots and writing are practically... new? I guess; they feel like actual TV shows. And I just think, that videogame movies can be so much more than what they currently are. Playing hard mode on Metroid Prime 4 has been quite an experience, to say the least. The main factor is that enemies deal more damage, and getting missiles and shit can be a little tad tedious because they can be vague. But it's been enjoyable so far, appreciate it being more tough.

Nine months xddd. It's been a long way, but there is still more to look forward.

I was pleasantly surprised at the catalog of this Indie World; I liked it a lot. I don't even have a Switch 2, but these games caught my attention, and I genuinely want a Sw2 for these games (and 1st Party and 3rd Party games).

I mean expensive they are, but you can say the same about other companies, and what's really wrong with finishing a game on a short amount of time? Nothing. But I suppose having more appropriated prices for games is fair to point out.

conversations in general for me, and other stuff is frustrating, because everyone complains about everything. I rarely see anything positive.

But as of right now, I can tell you that my favorite game of all time is Super Mario Galaxy, and Galaxy 2 as well.

-and even then, I feel the urge to play more videogames to have more sophisticated look at games and what genuinely grabs my attention and makes worth of my time and makes me think too highly of the videogame. As well as wanting me to replay it a lot xd.

You know how people make those lists of "favorite games of all time"? For me, it's really hard to do that because I don't have a list for me to create because I don't have that many games I can consider as my favorites. There is only like a total of 5 games for me I can consider my favorite-

Mmmmmmm, it looks fine. Though it's kind of jarring that for this to be the formal introduction to Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern and such (although Guy Gardner is also in this universe), there isn't a lot of "Green Lantern" to be seen. I've got nothing against mega-metroidvanias like "Silksong", but frankly, the average metroidvania having a blind 100% clear time of 8–12 hours is a virtue, not a flaw. Open world games that exercise discipline scope-wise aren't a thing you often see in any other genre, and there's a place for that!
