In just a few days, it will be one year since the April 2nd Nintendo Direct for Switch 2 where we all got excited and extremely angry. That was a day I will never forget for the pure whiplash of emotions I felt during that time.

So far, I think I'm in day 20 or something, and I have progressed quite a lot. Already obtained diamonds and got me a diamond armor, and diamond tools, working in a farm, and getting breeds of cows to have books and enchant my pickaxe for the best enchantments. Once I do that, I'll go to the nether, hopefully find a fortress and not die.

A lot of Mario fans I have seen want a one-to-one retelling of the Galaxy story on the big screen. But with everything we've seen and how it looks to have a lot of bluff, and how it changes some things, I can see why many would be underwhelmed with the movie being so blunted. For me personally-

Playing hard mode on Metroid Prime 4 has been quite an experience, to say the least. The main factor is that enemies deal more damage, and getting missiles and shit can be a little tad tedious because they can be vague. But it's been enjoyable so far, appreciate it being more tough.

Mmmmmmm, it looks fine. Though it's kind of jarring that for this to be the formal introduction to Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern and such (although Guy Gardner is also in this universe), there isn't a lot of "Green Lantern" to be seen. Like, what's up with the lack of green and the suit looks meh

I've got nothing against mega-metroidvanias like "Silksong", but frankly, the average metroidvania having a blind 100% clear time of 8–12 hours is a virtue, not a flaw. Open world games that exercise discipline scope-wise aren't a thing you often see in any other genre, and there's a place for that!

I want to see more of The Legend of Zelda movie. The director seems to put his heart on the making of this film, and I really enjoyed Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. And he also really seems to like The Legend of Zelda series. So I hope everything turns into favor to make this movie at least dcnt

Every time I see someone talk about Metroid Prime 4 in YouTube, I skip a heartbeat and get anxious. I don't know, I understand the critiques for the game, and how it could have been better, but I still hold that it's a good game, but I can't tolerate the critiques at the same time 😭😭😭

Yesterday, I played a lot of Zelda Breath of the Wild doing side missions and its DLC, and I'm sorry, no resentful gamer or contrarian in the internet will convince me that this game is bad. Maybe not the best Zelda game, but far from being bad, and it's still a great game.

I feel that by the time I get a Switch 2, there will more than enough games for me to play and enjoy in that console. Though I hope Nintendo announces more of their games as it doesn't feel there are that many, but since this is the eighth month of the Switch 2, we'll have to see more down the line
