Such grotesque Orwellian language, yikes--and, what a good point that this is all under Labour!

The UK is working to completely purge trans people from society. They are banning trans people from hospitals, banning their healthcare, banning them from bathrooms, protecting people that will harass them, and making it impossible to exist. This is all happening under Labour.

Yes, I think they are all doing really well together! That one I got in Santa Fe when it was something I could hold in my hand, and when I moved to Seattle in 2012 I thought this one is going to do well there, so I brought it with me, so glad I did! 💚

Okay, one last set to document the other two plants in my bedroom, plus the others facing the bookshelves on a table of papers, and, my oldest plant companion, a snake plant that I got 25 years ago in San Francisco, that then moved with me to Santa Fe, and after that to Seattle 💚💖🌿
Bright pink walls, a four piece handmade paperwork by my grandmother on the wall, other art to the left including a collage at the bottom and a few pieces of artwork by dead friends as well as photos of us together, some smaller plants on the dresser, a snake plant and a pothos, as well as a brass 60s lampYes, here we see the bookshelves again, with glass doors, in two directions, and then a wooden table with a globe, a pothos and a bright red pot, a spider plant, a Christmas cactus, and two different kinds of wandering Jews with those lovely pink and green leavesYes, here she is on the floor, the snake plant that still survives, next to yet another bookcase with glass doors, a green multi-tiered '60s lamp, and then a corner of that sofa next to the window with soft light

Meanwhile, in the bedroom 🪴💚💖🌿
To the left, on a collaged wooden stool, a fern glowing in the light, then a bulbous small magenta lamp with a floral lamp shade on a tiny wooden dresser, next to that, on a larger mid-century dresser, a Chinese evergreen with pink spotted leaves, a peace lily, a bromeliad, and what's that one called with the big green leaves, it's kind of trendy, can't think of it at the moment, it's a kind of philodendron, and then through the windows, you can see the vines growing on the side of the libraryHere we have a flourishing parlor palm, and another flourishing plant with bright green leaves that I don't know the name of, on a wooden dresser with a few minerals, a brass tic-tac-toe set, and behind on the pink walls are too abstract oil pastel pieces by my grandmother, Gladys Goldstein, in bright colors, oh and to the right you can see pieces of a collage I made with photos and a variety of items, oh and to the left you can see the colorful patterned curtains

And, here are a few plants that are keeping the books company📚🪴💚
A giant fern on a small table in front of the bookcase, behind is a prayer plant with large spread out green leaves, on the floor a much darker green peace and a philodendron, pale wood bookcases with glass doors behind, bamboo floors, and to the side you can see the yellow walls of the hallway, lots of abstract art by my grandmother and a few pieces by others

Thank you, that was quite a find for me at the vintage store! 🌿

Okay, maybe today it's time to document the houseplants, here is another angle of the main selection 🌲🪴🌿💚
Some very tall spindly dracenae stretching to the windows and ceiling, a large peace lily on the floor, rubber tree stretching in three directions, a few other plants with bright green leaves, and then of course the large Norfolk pine, some ferns on a table towards the window that you can't quite see, some bright colored pots, a tiered plant table filled with glass blue stars, in the background a pale blue-green sofa by the window with a red pillow and a cute stuffed animal, a grey armadillo, oh and the red curtains to the left, lots of windows with soft morning light in background

Honey, look at my orchids today!! All the plants, today is a good day for plants...🌲🌺💮🌸🪴
Okay, there is a giant Norfolk pine, and in front of that you see a white orchid, six very large flowers, then a tall skinny orchid with small spindly flowers that are dark red, almost brown with yellow tips and white bottoms, next to that one a magenta purplish orchid with large flowers, seven of them tumbling down, and then right by the window you can see a tall orange orchid with a few flowers peeking at the light, behind the orchids is a tall lamp shade, soft morning foggy light coming through the window, in the background you can see a little bit of the orange wall, a ceiling light fixture, and a recessed light, oh, and a tiny bit of the pale green wall in the kitchen, and I guess I should also mention that you can see a little bit of the pencil plant leaning against the window, reaching out, and is that also part of a dracenae over there too, yes

The one by my building was removed more than a year ago I think. In Seattle this has been going on for several years, and unfortunately it seems like a bipartisan effort at national level, at the very least the Democrats are complicit.

Unfortunately I think it is a purposeful effort to privatize the postal service, and the mailboxes will not return. The evil postmaster general has basically said this.

Months ago they removed the mailbox in front of my building, so I walked far away to another mailbox that was just there the other day, but now it's also gone. At this rate, soon we won't have the postal service at all.

Since 2002 the Amazon has lost primary forest larger than some countries. The Congo Basin still functions as a strong net sink while many other tropical forests weaken. Science is clear: keep the Congo intact and restore the Amazon before tipping points lock in.

Seattle, I'm pleased to report that, just down the street from the beautiful blue house that the owners repainted a hideous techapocalypse black, this house has just repainted the orange, yes, we love the orange, more of this, please🧡🍊🧡🍊🧡

AI is basically that for the whole economy and the workings of government. It's a bleed-out of current conditions. Not all of these companies are going to make it, but the billionaires are counting on a situation in which existing social relations can no longer be reproduced. A re-ordering.
