New month, so the goal gauge is reset. We only made it to 21% in October but that's okay. I'll keep trying, and thank you so much to everyone who helped. We'll keep this house from falling. Also planning on making new commission sheet this month. Commission me or donate at ko-fi.com/mayuzane

A Ko-fi goal gauge titled "Food, House Repairs, Debt Payment: October 2026." The gauge indicates 0 percent of the 1000 dollar goal has been reached. The caption below reads "If I can make a thousand dollars a month then I can focus on just making comics, paintings and games. Dad's bankrupt and our very old house is falling apart. Commissions are always open."

My fantasy adventure webcomic Merchant Band updated! I am very fond of pro wrestling. I suppose that much is obvious. Read the rest of the comic here: merchant.band Supporters get to read the comic early: patreon.com/mayuzane ko-fi.com/mayuzane #webcomic #comic #furry #furrycomic #furryart

A four-panel comic. The first panel shows Harrier, saying "In Mountain Clan tradition, the groom must wrestle with a member of the bride's family! The bride too shall wrestle one of the groom's family! A test of strength and courage!". In panel 2, Harrier's right hand is pointing at Leif. Harrier continues "You being an orphan makes you the ONLY wrestling candidate for the bride's side! YOU skipped it, because Bridget begged me not to. She believed I would kill you by accident!". In panel 3, Leif turns to Bridget and asks "Bridget, is that true?" and Bridget replies "...Yeah." The final panel shows Bridget speaking: "I didn't really know how good you were at fighting, when we got married. I only knew you as a dancer and a mage, at the time. Now, after being with you for years, I'm sure you can handle him." The text at the bottom says "Read the comic at https://merchant.band - Support the author at ko-fi.com/mayuzane or patreon.com/mayuzane"

I have a habit of deliberately mispronouncing and misspelling video game titles because it's funny to me.

An image of four video game logos, with letter rearranged. Starting from top to bottom: "Ace Combat" written as "Ace Bomcat". "Dragon Age" as "Dargon Arge". "Company of Heroes" as "Cympano of Horoes". "Abiotic Factor" as "Abiatac Factor".

My fursona is a housecat because just like a cat, I enjoy 'the hunt'. I love ambushing 'prey'. I know it is wrong to do in real life, so I keep that in games only. More fun for me anyway, I get to hunt over and over again with no real risk. Anyway. point is, motivations don't have to be 'rational'.

For all my issues with Skyrim's writing and characters, Paarthurnax's words stick with me. "What is better, to be born good? Or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?" resonates with me. I enjoy 'the hunt'. It's why I love online multiplayer. I love 'hunting' other players.

I also do not like the idea that "everyone thinks they're righteous". I don't. I am not a good person. I enjoy hurting people, and I know I have to restrain myself. Villains who know what they are doing is wrong is not unrealistic. They know they are not on the right side but they will commit.

120

Mayu Zane-Commissions Open! @mayuzane.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I generally do not like the idea that a villain 'must have a good reason' for cruel acts. I have met far too many people irl whose only reason for hurting people was because they wanted something the other person had. "They must have a good reason to do something this drastic" no they did not.

The Amazing Littlest Petshop continues! And nobody guessed Gangle's animal! That's right folks! She's a magical KIT-SOO-NEIGH! (*Kitsune translates to two armed fox) Why fox? Despite being made timid under Jax, she's actually a bit mischievous and full of surprises! #tadc #theamazingdigitalcircus

Gangle as a kitsune girl, several doodles of such. Caine is once again snapping his fingers for the transformation while Gangle cowers over herself, shyly rubbing her ribbon hands together. "... I bet I'll just be a weak animal..."

Caine isn't having any of that! He might not have control over what animal they become, but he says "Don't sell yourself short!" as he snaps his fingers.

And Gangle was happy. :)

As a fox, or kitsune or kyubi, Gangle's mask becomes more of one like a kistune mask, complete with some red markings and some blue ones to mimic her tears though she is not crying at all. She has five tails because I couldn't be assed to draw more. Her neck ruff and tails end in a frosted white look as an accent color.

Her kitsune girl appearance makes her look like a shrine maiden or meiko, though a bit more modern and cutesy. She has little black boots and white gloves to match the pure red skirt and white robe top. Her kitsune mask is worn over her own mask face as an accessory. She has golden accents on her clothing and little belt rope around her waist.
