Anytime I see someone complaining how Vgen is too complicated, too hard to get Verified on, or that they're not getting clients, etc and I wish they understood its not a magical problem solver of a site. It's a specialized tool to streamline administrative tasks so you can focus more on art.

i feel like people who grew up on web 2.0 don't realize websites aren't supposed to be social media. they aren't supposed to trap you and keep you on there with constant engagement and interaction. websites are supposed to just Exist as an index or archive for you to look at only as much as desired

good general internet safety reminder: double check the profile of whoever is messaging you! if the writing style feels off, if there's no DM history when there SHOULD be old messages, or if it feels like an "emergency", there's a good chance it's a scammer ✌

again, *extremely* hypothetical. i would love to get it off the ground but i have a lot more elaborate plans than just 'pdf of art/writing'. i wanna write articles and do interviews n shit. hypothetically. and potentially, fanfiction could also be some words to add to a fanzine... idk tho

010

dea (commissions on vgen) @mayordea.art · 18/09/2026

#utau okay real talk, is fanfiction and comics (whether it's more narrative driven or gag-based) a common enough thing in the utau community to potentially include it in aN ENTIRELY HYPOTHETICAL UTAU FAN MAGAZINE ? some fanzines have a mix of art + writings, so i wonder if that would apply here too
